You guys really DO hate shirts!

I have to say, this is freaking fantastic. One of the best entries I've seen in a long time. Great acting, great editing, great suspense. The only drawback is the newscaster portion is a bit weak. Would have liked to see it playing on the TV instead of seeing it all crystal clear. Would have made it a bit more disconnected and 'real' to go along with the solid performances.

Wonderful! Really good. I'd vote for you if I hadn't already voted for myself :D

Hahaha! I LOVE that you entered! I didn't even think of doing a Criss Angel thing, and normally I have already thought up most of the concepts that get made in a fight. Great use of the title, love Dave's insane hair. Hopefully this was as fun to make as it was to watch.

Careful with those fonts. The wrong font in a red color, especially in WMV, is going to look muddy. Red's a bad choice for most things running through eindows encoding, especially DVD MPEGS and DV AVIs. I'm sure it looks fine in your software though.

Whoa, do you have one of those gradiented ND filters? Sky looks dark and awesome. Hmm, I'm going to guess you just chroma'd out a blue sky and replaced it ... but I'm not sure. Crafty!

Steady cam shot? Walking into the leaves halfway through looks amazing. Reminds me of VileKyle's stuff.

Yeah, this must be a steady cam. I almost feel like I did when I watched an Ed Flinch movie for the first time.

EWW Shot in the face! Freaking hard core. WHOA! Shot with the glasses ... what a shot. Great way to kind of tease it without over doing it.

Kids blowing up !!! WTFZZ !!!!! Whoa!!! You guys don't mess around!!!!!! No end credits or anything ?!? Insanest film fights entry ever ... or at least since Rick Rock's "Loose Cannon"

This one is mineeee! Big ups to Dan Meth for shooting this! Normally he's all secret behind the scenes and stuff so I was honored that he went in front of the camera for me.

We shut off the AC and it got really unbearably hot in there. I probably could have left it on, with all the music and sound effects added in there later.

Marissa kept laughing so we had to kick her out ... she couldn't handle Dan's bad grammar and awesome accent.

Good slow zoom in him watching the TV / monitor.

Careful, the audio is a little shoddy here. With dark scenes or scenes you can't really see, it's best to record it twice - once from a very very close angle, once from far away, then you can dub in the audio from the closer shot.

You guys just wanted an excuse to do that slow motion effect, didntya?

I would have done some color correction on this. The colors end up looking reallllly bland. Even tweaking the 'level' settings and the saturation, to make it more like the film would have made a big difference.

Ah, nightvision ... I don't approve of it, but sometimes ya gotta use it.

The best thing about this was you kept it moving. Tight editing made it quite watchable.

ERIK! Had so much fun shooting this. Really glad we could pull it together in Friday night. After shooting it, I was imagining how I'd edit it .. and especially the audio effects on Steve's voice. Ya nailed it, plus more! I'd love to do something someday where we take the exact same source footage and see how we edit each of our differently. How fascinating would that be ?

Anyway, I was glad to also act in it! Thanks so much for the kind words, Seger. I love acting and hope to do a lot more of it for BFX. Always so exciting to see the final product, this was no disappointment. GO TEAM INDYMOGUL!
