That's some wicked wall paper! Greg looks pretty tough in his picture. Jordan is hard as fuck. There's nothing cooler than totally rocking out on Guitar Hero, and nothing worse than being terrible.
Watch your audio levels! This is step 1 of filmmaking, there were a lot of parts drowned out by the music. Even if you only have 2 people and a tripod, you should incorporate as many POV shots as possible to get that cam as close as possible to the actor's faces.
Love the insert shot of him playing super fast.
Haha, and the card at the end! That made me laugh. So matter-of-fact.
It's too bad you didn't have a camera guy, this was a pretty good idea that could have gone pretty viral if it was done right. Not saying this was awful, just that it was lacking a lot that'd make it better.
Hah, funny baby screaming sound at the start. I fucking love baby punching. Babies really ask for it, with their pink little faces. Is he trying to lick that baby ??? Fun woods location, I kind of miss being able to just run to the woods and film things. Too bad it's a bitch to encode.
Love the punching sequence at the end. Very well done. I'm not the biggest fan of fast-motion stuff though. Best to do a small part sped up, and the rest normal speed, a cooler effect.
Thanks for the entry!
First off, I wouldn't have chosen that wipe transition for 'glory' at the start. Would be better if it was a punchy zoom. (just me being a picky ass)
Great collage of shots. A lot could be cut, to only your favorites. I like that the cat keeps showing up. Started off with great intensity but sort of devolved. The 'kick some ass' music rocks.
Are shirts illegal over in your parts?!
You've got a good eye for the shots. I approve. You might want to splice in the audio from closer shots when you have dialogue taking place farther away.
Damn the wind, am I right? Good tip for that is to put an old box for 35mm film on the tip of themic. Makes it much more directional, cuts that blotting. I love the end credits composition. A lot of good things here, hope to see more!
