Here are my QUICK notes on the video.
I love the lighting. I love the black and white - the first couple shots are great. I think the lead actor looks the part - LOVE the casting. May not be the most amazing actor but I love his look! It's great. I don't feel so great about using the on-board camera light in the later scenes, but I understand you gotta do what you gotta do.
Also think you did a great job on the muzzle flashes.
I'll have a full video review once I get that FILE!
Thanks for your comments.
And yes, the later scenes I agree with on the lighting and I am not entirely happy with it. But it was a location shoot, very last minute, and in an area we probably shouldn't have been filming. So we didn't bring much in terms of lighting setup. There were actually cop cars passing by on and off, and we were running around with toy guns and one of us in a mask. Lol. It was interesting.
I'll email you the video as soon as I get to reduce the file size so I don't have to pay to upload it.
Link to file sent via your "contact admin" form. Peace.

My QUICK review:
LOVE the old timey effect on the film. Usually I hate that kinda stuff, but this doesn't look 'stock' like a lot of other ones. Also the camera and the DOF is perfect for it. Freaking hilarious, I love a lot of the lines in this. Awesome concept. Easily one of my favs!!!
Full review coming soon once I get that hot hot file from you.
Here's my short review - I'm awaiting a download link of your video to post my video review!
Audio isn't great - odd that you redubbed some of the lines and not others. Really hard to make out some stuff, even with headphones. I like your characters, I love the ending of the film, a lot of fun.
The only two redubbed lines were "Thank you, honey," and the spiel where the girl tells the detective what's up as she's walking in. Your complaints about the audio volume are exactly why I redubbed the entire thing last month, but this month, I decided to give the on-site audio a whirl. The reason only those two lines were redubbed were because they were completely inaudible in the on-site audio.
Here's my short review - I'll have a full video review coming soon. It'll be on the main page when it goes live.
Cute lead! I felt like the plot was confusing and really didn't like that you didn't do much work on the guns firing. No sound effects? No flashing white on the screen? There were some sequences that could have used a lot more coverage - made them confusing.
You were also over our time limit (4 minutes).
Like I said, full proper review from me on the front page soon!
Hey man, I let you know a couple of the reasons I put this LW - primarily that it's way over time limit, it wasn't made exclusively for Film Fights, and you had some audio problems.
Can you email me a download link to your film so I can include it in the review show I'm working on? Thanks man!
just got the link out to u through email - looking forward to seeing the review show man
This is my film! We shot it sort of last-second when we were vacationing in Paris. I was debating subtitling the whole thing, but I think it's pretty understandable. It's a silly thing, I don't know if it's a comedy movie or what it is ... that's up to you, I guess!
