YEA, He lived. Wow, this is really dark. Man, so many bad things happened to this guy. I knew it was going to be good when I saw that screenshot. Some pretty cool effects on the memories. Nice use of the scary looking basement. I really, really liked this.

"New Year's Mission" by EmmerekEntertainment - Reviewed on December 27th, 2009

HEY, Emmerek is in the Heavy Weights, again. Great job, guys. Ok, I get that you were toys, but I still didn't really understand where you were. I like that they were wearing same costumes as the action figures. You must have had a hard time squeezing in all that dialogue. Pulled it off pretty good. Good acting, as always.

Great acting. Nice to see more adults in the mix. Liked the costumes. The super close-up was a little out of focus and the timer looked a little silly. Other than that, everything was spot on. Really good idea for this fight. Nice work, guys!

yeah...the timer got screwed up, our first real attempt at chroma keying...we learned a valuable lesson. If there is an important color linked to the plot...like say a green wire...pick a different color to chroma key to. :(
We are pumped to be participating in Filmfights...can't believe it took us this long to find it!

OK, good. So far it seems like everyone understands what happened. I was a little afraid when I was editing that I didn't get the idea across good enough. Originally there was a sign in the shot of the dead people that said "New Years Eve Mixer and Mass Suicide", but I cut it out, cause you couldn't read it good. Plus, there wasn't really time. I really wish I would have picked a better screenshot. Maybe less credits, too. Haha. Thanx for the reviews, everyone!

You can always re-upload your vid with a new screenshot, or just upload a new screen shot - no big deal.

Haha. Nice photoshop job in your screenshot! One of you guys shaved and the other one has a very different looking mustache, this film. I can't believe you guys got robbed of HW, again!

Whoa, that was really creepy! What the heck was that guy that jumped out at the end? Cool idea for the timer. I thought this was pretty good.

"Another New Year" by NDI Studios - Reviewed on December 27th, 2009

HA! great idea guys. Wow, you guys let him lay there on the floor for 3 years! i don't know why, but I realy thought the creepy Avatar guy walking by was hilarious. Was it real? I watched it like 5 times just for that. Good just making it seem like there were people there that weren't I might have tried to sneak the people that were there (like the person with the hat at the door, and the Avatar person) into more shots, maybe wearing different stuff. Unless that was you two, somehow, in which case good job fooling me. Was that a bottle of tequila with tin foil on the lid? Awesome effect of opening the bottle, too, btw. Overall great job, guys! Very entertaining entry.

Thanks Jeremy! The Avatar guy in the background is actually just James in a blue hoodie so that you can't see his face. haha. And the other people in the shots were actually just the 2 of us (James in the hoodie and Ben at the door with a wig/different sweater). We tried adding at least a little hint that there were more people at that party than just the 2 of us. Haha. And the champagne bottle was actually a bottle of Red Grape Juice Coctail, and the tin foily stuff was what was on the bottle originally. We are under 21 so couldn't buy actually champagne and couldn't find anything like apple cider.

Thanks for the kind words! Glad you liked it!

Happy New Year to you, too! A deep and reflective take on the subject. I wish it would have said Happy New Years 1989. The quality of the video looked very retro.
