I liked the snappy banter, but had a hard time seeing what was going on. It was so dark that I wasn't sure where your characters were supposed to be.

This is outstanding. The flash cuts with the heartbeats...wow! I really liked the color in the basement shots too! (I need to get the hang of color correction, so envy is apparently my new years resolution.)

You put a ton of work into this one, and I will admit it looks pretty slick, but I automatically shy away from these types of films. The whipping around "panic cam" shots made famous by Blair Witch, Cloverfield, and Paranormal Activity only induce nausea and headaches in this viewer. :(

Good work! Nice cuts between the counter, door etc. Very clean. Personally I would have rather seen the counter as a clock on the wall, or the TV in the background watching the ball drop over times square than a meter running down in the corner. Also...I am kind of bummed out that you got entered later than the main group. I have been promoting the hell out of Filmfights.com. Telling people to go register and vote, even if they don't vote for my project. People who get entered in a bit later are losing out on a ton of potential votes. :(

Yes I agree, we really wanted to get it in on time and probably lost a lot of votes this way, but we at least wanted to get it done and entered! Thankfully there's still time left in the fight to make up for lost votes, hopefully.

We wanted a clock on the wall or something but don't have a clock with a second hand (as weird as that sounds) so we worked with what we had. haha.

I like your take on this project. Much more serious and honest tone than what i did, that's for sure!
Just wish you would have posted sooner...votes fly quick around here.
