"Forest Fight" by TNTProductions - Reviewed on February 7th, 2010

Really good entry. As others have said, pacing makes this really good. This is also one of the entries that totally showcases a fight scene. It seemed to me like some of the other entries weren't straight up fights, but this one is, for the most part, and I like that. The gun throw is great. Like the shaky camera work as well. Good stuff!

"Fallen Future" by Jalapeño Films - Reviewed on February 7th, 2010

Great look, color graded fits, looks good.
Stuntwork with flips and stuff is great, love the shot of the keyboard hitting the ground with keys falling out. The effect with him falling out of the window looks good too.
It seemed to me that this was really reminiscent of the scene in Watchmen were the comedian is being killed, yours seems a lil more grounded in reality though. The music is the main thing that gives it that feel; I don't think it works. It doesn't seem to mesh with the editing or the color correction, and it was something I didn't really like in Watchmen, either. I think it was good, the falling out of the window looked great, but the music was kind of a turn off for me.
