"Can't Run From Death" by Redhand Studios - Reviewed on February 1st, 2010

I really like the most of your framing and shot selection, editing is also pretty good. (Who the hell is that guy?!) I liked how you cut between the fight and "the bitch" being chased.
Very cool location, what was it? And how did you manage to shoot there? I appreciate how you shot the fight but I don't really like the choreography itself. Mind your color correction! I love how the guy keeps getting attacked in mid-sentence.

How long will you guys keep doing the series?

Overall, a well made and entertaining short film.

This was a storage warehouse. Used to be a meat packing plant in the 1940's. We walked in and asked if they would let us film there on the weekend. People are pretty cool about that sort of thing here. Same way we got the store location for "you're so going to hell."
we will keep doing the series until people get sick of it, i guess. :)

"Forest Fight" by TNTProductions - Reviewed on February 1st, 2010

Great use of music, I really like your shaky camera work , it would normally seem somewhat amateur but it goes well with what's going on on screen. Watch out for handling sounds, try to edit them out! This is a very violent and nicely choreographed fight, good job on that, not all hits look real though, which should be one of your most important goals when making a fight.
Don't like the digital blood effect when the guy's being punched against the tree. I like the bird eye's shot but it's a bit too shaky. I also don't like the camera going back and forth between the guy walking a way and the unconscious guy, the fight's over you can give a sense of mental tension in the close ups but I would also show a sense of physical calmness in the wide shots.

You should watch out for light changes, otherwise try to color correct them. Speaking about CC, your video has a home video kind of look. It's okay, but you could get a nice ''filmic'' effect out of this camera with some SLIGHT grading.

I really liked the film, I would have probably voted for you if I hadn't voted for myself ;)

"Rough Day at the Office" by Bloch Films - Reviewed on February 1st, 2010

Even though is is approximately as long as the other films it seems much shorter to me maybe because it's just nice, simple and entertaing!

Good job on making this overdramatic. Like the lighting on the fight. The editing is well-timed.
I can't really spot something that's WRONG.
Like Justin said it would've been cool if you changed back to the 'normal office' for the last two shots of the fighting guys.
