I enjoyed this short! Though I had some issues with the dark color correction. Also, the weird slippers threw me off, I wasn't sure if they were going to play a part in the short because they are so out there.
Excellent choice of music! Really well put together!
The only flaw I could see was that the close up on the news paper boy was very soft (not a big deal) But the biggest thing is that you changed the angles too much and broke the 180 line, making it a little confusing. Initially the man leaving his house seems to be crossing towards camera right. And the news paper boy is crossing the same way. It made it a little confusing when in the next cut the guy is looking camera right and the newspaper boys eyes are camera left. Gah I sound like a film professor or something, but make sure you stick to a line and for the angles on the actors about the same.
I still enjoyed the concept and intensity of it. Oh and awesome job on the timing! You're exactly at 30 seconds :D

I wish this wasn't late! It's fantastic! The camera work, quick editing and cool shots played really well with this. That tv dinner looks tasty :D
Oh and great color correction! Though at one point theres multiple shots on the actor and he looks more Roseau than the other shots. I think this could be an artistic choice, but it did throw me off a bit because subconsciously I thought he could be in a different room from the different color.

I wasn't quite a fan of this one... I mean it's SO good, but not for me. I think when the guy says "I'm the Recyculator" in that really deep grimy voice, it just grosses me out. Haha did remind me of batman's deep voice though.
You guys had no flaws in the film. I loved the blood effects and intense slow motion. :)
SO MANY CUTS! Great job on the editing with this guys! I loved how it would slow down and speed up, super cool! I wan't to try that in one of my shorts now haha!
The story was awesome and completely over the top until towards the end. What the heck was that pink thing the guy was holding? I guess it was meat? And did he hang himself?
Initially I didn't pick up on the meat and the hanging because it was cut so quickly, but after another viewing I picked up on it.

sock! it was supposed to be that his white sock got turned pink....people seem to be having a hard time picking that one up, WE HAVE FAILED!
We needed an additional line like ... "I LOVE WASHING MY WHITES!" or something like that ... to drive home the whiteness. then emphasised something pink in the mix. I blame Marissa for actually wanting to do real laundry when we shot!

I think the multiple angle shots could of been cut together tighter, and maybe you could have done something really ridiculous like repeat them over and over again really fast lol. Good job at the chroma key, except for the actor's arms being cut off. Try experimenting with more green screen! You got a good set up going!

I agree that the biggest problem with this is the music. It was literally the first thing we added at random. The good news is that it's easy to replace with something different.
I'm not so sure about copyright issues because if someone wanted to use it, they would contact the submitter for permission to use it and for them take off the music and replace it with something not copyrighted.
I do <3 flight of the concords though, and this song was just too good to pass up.
It isn't as "over the top" as I thought it would be, but it still has a dramatic feel.
