A little long and boring for my tastes but I respect it for a drama. My only two bothers were with the tennis ball scene. Just a little gripe that the tennis ball seemed very new and unused for such an "old" tennis ball. And i have to agree with cakebakejake, the man getting his hand bit could have been improved. I just didnt feel that bit. But overall well done.
The no longer make the "yellow" tennis balls that I could find, and I searched high and low! Ah progress! I tried to tweak some color correction with limited success.
Thank you for your kind feedback.
Great work guys. Some really good shots in there. I liked it that you used some longer duration shots and got creative with your tracking. The surveillance guy in the room was a bit unconvincing. Content was good, but i have some technical suggestions. What camera do you guys use? The white balance seems to be a bit off as everything appears a little blue which i think is the wrong tint for this kind of film. If you can have a play around with the white balance. Also some shots seem a little over-exposed, this might be because of the white balance. WIthout knowing what camera its hard to give solutions but google some stuff up on it. I'm in love with Zebra patterns at the moment :) they'v been really saving me. And finally would be good to have the video expanded out to fit the whole screen. Check the screen size when you export or import at that matter. But great work. Really wish i knew what was in the case :)
Hmm, not really sure why the frame didn't fill out other than perhaps it was paired with the awful video quality of this one - it had to be the 25MB 'cause it would've been mean to send in the 125MB version :( Anyway, with the new camera's arrival (Random Axe's HV40) hopefully we'l finally clear our bad camera quality hurdle!
Wow I love HD...Beautiful shots. Outside has never looked so good. Excellent casting, top marks for everyone in the film, the acting really made this. And excellent content hehe funny. fav so far.
Aww, thanks! Yes HD is a wonderful thing. I'm really glad the casting worked out. I think I'll use Jared (the dad) some more before he runs off to broadway and becomes famous!
Yea really good guys. Music was good and fit very well but somehow i felt it was a bit too distracting. Maybe for this one ambient noises could have been a bit higher. But great work.
Hey! Thanks for the criticism! We all appreciate it! Hope to have your vote!
