"British Phonebooth 2" by Chubby Commie - Reviewed on December 6th, 2005

I love the hilariously bad British accents. I suppose in a sequel if they couldn't afford good Brit actors, they'd be forced to hire Americans to try to pull it off. I kind of would have liked to see you use more of a 'phone' sounding effect on the voice.

There's a hum in the background and you can really tell when it's not there - might as well had it keep going through the whole thing to keep things the same.

Kind of short and silly - would have also liked to see some POV shots from the sniper where-ever he was - maybe a shot of Stu being targeted in the booth.

And it even sets itself up for another sequel, nice!

"Die Silly 2: Die Sillier" by The Silly Apple Klub - Reviewed on December 6th, 2005

Nice 'tough-guy' - love the tattoo and the sunglasses. Great 80s rocking as well. The little montage shots could have been cut a bit quicker. You really only need a couple frames to get the point across, and it's cooler when it's fast.

Banana sauce?! What the hell is that.

Looks like an auto-title generator for the title - I'd suggest shying away from those.

Silly the Kid looks like a real badass! Nice style on the drawring.

Hahah, brilliant stop motion, I love that kind of stuff. You should have tried to keep the muzzle out of frame most of the time so you can get away with not having any actual muzzle flash effects.

I would have liked to see some explosion stock footage of things blowing up while he was shooting at things. Maybe use that explosion all over the place on random items. Everything's exploding!

Gun shooting sequence is funny, but too long.

"Confederate Cop 2" by Griffinity - Reviewed on December 6th, 2005

Griffin, you're so awesome at trailers. Always nice seeing you going back to your roots.

I laughed out loud at the "He's baaaack" because it was so half-way between an actual He's baaaaaaaaaaaaack and just saying He's Back. He's baack. Wonderful!

You look so handsome and ... deadly with your facial hair shaved off. Kind of like ... Ron Silver in Timecop, I assume that's what you were going for. Though, I also think that Ron Silver had facial hair in that. Muzzle loading sequence classic, of course.

Funny that you dubbed over Rex, I didn't notice that until he mentioned it. Good show sir, good show!

"Aeon Flux2-The Spawn of Emo Flux" by Dont Ask - Reviewed on December 6th, 2005

Great opening sequence. I think that was my favorite part of the whole thing. Good lighting, good shot. Love the close up.

The world is "Dying"

You're so passively swinging around those weapons, nice touch. You reeeeally have some sound issues on this one. I can barely make out what anyone is saying and that makes it very confusing, espcially since I haven't seen the movie. I suggest always going back and re-dubbing in the audio, even if you use a crappy $10 windows microphone it will sound a billion times better. Right now the audio just needs a lot of work. Putting in that extra time will make it seem a lot more professional.

Anorexia or something, haha.

Poor emo :(

I'd also have liked to see more titles between the sequences to tie in more together. Some big issues with this one, but if it was cut down to like 30-45 seconds and redubbed it could be good. Better enter something than nothing though, so I applaud you!

"Syrup Amok 2" by One Trick Pony - Reviewed on December 6th, 2005

Hey it's my movie!

I wanted to get this done in time for the actual fight start, but things have been a bit crazy recently, as always. As with all my movies, I was pretty sure it sucked during the filming and editing, but I cut and cut and it came down to being a decent-enough film.

I really wish I would have had Marissa put her hand up over the background of the room instead of right in front of her shirt - would have made my life a lot easier and saved about three masking layers in AFX. :P

Thankfully compression hides the shoddy craftsmanship!

I discovered recently that all my movies have something to do with a kind of food, and if Marissa is in them she's in some sort of awful pain. Rather unnerving, I need to get away from that!!! Don't worry Marissa, I love you!! Sorry!!!
