Cute, great imagery in general. A very calm film that doesn't need anything more. Were you alone shooting it? All the shots are steady and well chosen except for the close up which gave me the impression that the camera was handheld by the girl. Anyways... a very satisfying film, let's celebrate life!
Music going along well with the filmfights logo. From the screenshot I was thinking it was another ninja movie. Good soundtrack for your footage. METAL GEAR SPOOF!!! I don't have very specific comments about your film... I mean, it was fun to watch, had a good pacing, funny actors... well done.
Simple, good cinematography, the narration wasn't loud enough. A very moody film with a convincing actress. The end is EXCELLENT!!! The second ending is also fun... vampire teeths are sexy!
Another film with deleted scenes within the main video. The mood of this film is generally good. The narration is convincing. Not very "Halloweenish".
A GL2 (Justin's?) is on the computer! So that means it was probably shot with the HD cam instead... damn those cameras have a fine picture... It's another short and sweet film! I tend to like those a lot more than the sagas over 5 minutes. "He's gonna get ya!". Good work, and good collaboration.
Creative editing. Wasn't bad at all; it does have the feel of a musical, a poor man's Rocky horror picture show or Little shop of horrors. The thing that REALLY REALLY rocks is your soundtrack and the fact that you made it yourself. It injects the life needed into the film. Bravo!!!
Great opening. I don't particularly like the music but the narration is well chosen. The rest is pretty much standard "hey, it's my first film" material: outrageously mainstream music samples, music from the matrix, bad cuts, continuity/structure issues, no real story or character to speak of, natural lighting and/or night vision. Nonetheless, I had fun watching it; the scene with the officer is very funny. The rapper's shout is also priceless. Congrats for the fight scenes, it's great to see people actually dare to do one. We'll have the occasion to see more fights in the upcoming action movie sequel fight.
As a whole, not very exciting but not boring either. Eerie, nice looking in general, creepy sound ambience. I like the guy following the other guy and suddenly disappearing; it's a nice take on the whole "I'm following you silently" scene. The movie also has a weird vintage feel that I liked, probably due to the principal color tone (yellow). Great ending. I liked it.
It starts intense, shifts to a more creepy feel and jumps to comedy in the first 30 seconds; it capted my attention for sure! The whole concept (masks and pissing) works. The movie was entertaining, the shooting and editing style made the whole thing smooth to watch. The, or one of the best films this week. BUT it ends abruptly and I was like "What, no punch, no... nothing!!". Then, I realized the running time was already over 5 minutes... oh well... Dustin is just great (even if he's totally overacting his first 2-3 lines)... Adam is too... and, well, Nalani... everyone.
A lot of good good quotes:
"You're gonna drink you piss!! All of it"
"Guys!!..... girl!!"
