I found it disconcerting how the "video" sound was clearer than the "thinking" sound. I did like the video tho. Maybe the thinking could have been echoeyer? I didn't get it that the dogs were think-speaking until the second viewing. Not bad at all... it just came out less clearly than I think you had intended it to be.
Nice, quick intro. Ahhaha nice dance! Hows the kids, nice. I had to listen to "Can't ask for more" three times before I could convince myself she wasn't speaking spanish. Nice and tight, good job!
Sam is the best pretasian I think I've seen. "What the fuck?" - initial final reaction. If you took that stock cityshot then hell yeah to you.
Rexy why have you not invested in a boom-ish mic? You deserve awesometastic audio to go with your teriffic cinematography. You've improved a ton in a bunch of different aspects in my absence. Props to you my man. Props to you. Awesome job on this!
AAhhhahah this was rediculous and awesome all at once!! My Goodnesss I loved it. Everything was great - well-acted cheesiness and sillyness that was appropriate. Awesome ending. Creepy post-ending. Only two little quips - audio quips - the music cuts were noticable to me and a couple of the audio dubs didn't fool me. But otherwise hell friggin yeah!
Hahaha I liked it. A little jumpy audiowise coz of the background noise in the grocery store, but the expressions on the actors were teriffic. I don't know if I loved the music at the end, but it worked
Damn, but those were loud sound effects. Not a fan, especially with headphones on. Where was the cheesy infomercial music? Could you have faded in the audio so that it wasn't as noticably 'recorded on a camera' hissylike? A lotta potential, just needed some more sparkle and pizazz
I liked the camerawork - extended shots always make me happy but you could have extended them even more, imo. Slight continuity issues in between shots, nothing all that drastic. Sorta predictable ending, coulda countered that with an over-the-top character. Pretty good!
Effing awesome. I loved the storytelling. Good creative tripodding, resulted in some interesting shots, some maybe a little too interesting but most were great. Only a small amount could have been edited down to make it quicker, maybe the initial 'on the cell phone' shot as well as the intial 'im looking at filmfights woohoo!' annnd maybe the last onthephone shot. But I loved the blur-date-cutoff shot. Hahaha awesomely simplistic way to end, good choice of doing it all instrumental. Cut it down a little, turn the damn thing in on time and this would've gotten my HW vote dude
AHHH ITS REX!
Who shot this?
Nice dancing. Not QUITE sure about this music, Im pretty sure it wsa done mostly for comedic effect... holy shit he's naked. Ahhahaha Rex... that's the most I've ever heard you get upset about. A little incoherent, I could tell what was going on and all, but it seemed a little... weird. Maybe is that British Comedy they're always talking about. How did the "molesting the phone" call alert Rex to the fact that you were about to be raped/sexed? It was funny and I liked it... but I didn't quite get it all
I like the running shots, but there's too many of them. You couldve cut it down by half. The sped up fighting with the disassociated audio was really cool to me. Even the 'beingonthephone' shots were long. You coulda half-ened the length of the video with the same effect, it was tight. As is the case when the ending is made predictable by the lmitations of the fight, the ending was predictable. But it was okay to happen. Muy bueno. Shorten it up.
Audio is bugging me... but the video editing itself is very tight. Not too long at all, good! The 'shit' was unnecessary IMO. The quick shots were sorta lost on me coz the camera was shaking. Hahaha very clever I liked this. End credits were too long maybe? Bloopers are fun but more fun for friends. Just my opinions, not law!
