The Worst Way To Die
Genre: AnyRules: What would be the world's worst way to die? Would it involve turtle wax, a lampshade, and Andy Dick? You decide! Do your worst!!!
If you're going to put titles at the start, you can probably slow down the actual speed of the text - or just combine the two titles into one title frame so we can actually read them.
Robes are pretty fun to wear. This Mujibar kind of talks like a weird baby, not an arab.
Okay, sure, this intro is going too long. Might be funny for you guys but it's going a little long for me.
Watch all the different angles you're using, make sure the characters are always facing the same way when they're talking to each other - otherwise it's kind of confusing to watch.
Music in the background is really nice, I dig it. Works well for the short.
Lots of this could have been cut down. But it wasn't a bad flick! Just if it was cut down to the time limit, it would have been better - that's why we've got time limits!!!
Fake binoculars? I think you could have found real ones.
Monster homo -- hah! NICE
I like the voice overs. Being American is awesome. I love beating the crap out of people. DAMN that slap must have hurt!
Lunch thing goes on a bit long. Funny, good banter, but ... too long for the total length of your film. Watch the background noise when you're recording voiceovers - there's some kind of high pitched whine. You should also fade in and out of the VOs so the whine fades in and out, doesn't just cut.
Poor Chori, I like the sandwich scene. Toilet water, hah! "Like poop!"
This could really use some music in the BG. Especially for the 'eat it' scene.
Poor Chori!
Good flick, I'll probably vote for it.
Wonderful intro!!! Spinning shot is great! Great sound, great lighting!
Good way of doing the title sequece. You get the names up there without wasting too much time.
I feel kind of bad that you took us out of the red room - it looked so unique, into this hallway. I wish there was a more interesting location.
GREAT music in the background of the 'now I can frame this man' shot. Love how it just pops up, well done.
That red suit looks a little too big for the dude.
Camera work is pretty simplistic, but it's good for the material. Could probably have used some more angles though.
Like the costumes. Decent writing. Great submission!
I'm not a big fan of the ditzy girl thing, so immediately it's a little long in the tooth for me.
I don't like the black cutting into the intro title sequence. If you've got a title like that it should really stay with the shot it was placed on in some way and not continue through. Hopefully you understand what I'm saying.
I like the reading of the note! Hah! "Whatever"
Watch the echoy audio on the doorway scene. You could always shoot it twice, once from close and far away, and then just use the close audio.
Wow this house must be huge, so echoy, that's just crazy!
Is the "Sweetie" line supposed to come from your mom or something? It'd be better to have a shot of an open doorway or something along those lines instead of just showing her looking off into the distance.
Dig the montage music.
Where'd this other girl come from! I'm confused! Was that green screened ???
Supersexydancepartyyyyyyy, nice.
This is pretty decent green screen work, considering. Kudos.
Oh no the house!
Cute flick, I got over the ditzy thing. I would have suggested re-recording the audio you shot on the green screen so it sounded more location-appropriate.
