well, the video quality was really good. looks like you had a white balance issue. the stuff outside was really blue. audio wasnt too bad, but it would have been blended a littel better and parts were a little quiet. acting was decent. the story had a good flow, but overall wasnt very interesting. props for at least filming something. they cant all be blockbuster hits, but keep at it and get lots of practice. that way when you do get a good story idea, you will be ready to film it with pride. 2stars
let me start by saying, i had to mute it half way through. i hope no one said anything, cause f they did, i missed it. that music drove me crazy. not saying it was a bad choice, i just couldnt handle it. good camera work, good quality. i had no idea what the papers that kid was holding said. were they significant? if not, you should have cut them, if so, then i missed out on that. nice plot, here. parts drug a little. like the passed out girl, especially. the asian girl scene was a littel long, too. i never really got bored, but it still lasked in pacing. the sepia was an interesting choice, but i didnt care for the french. maybe cause i didnt understand it? (it was french, right?) overall really solid entry. mainly i would have worked on the pacing. 2 1/2 stars
why did you render this at such a low bitrate??? the quality could have been so much prettier. and it was short, so you had the leeway. anyways, funniest entry this week for sure. the the very end had me gagging. i mean like, laugh gagging, not the throwing up kind. haha. shot very well. i didnt liek the long shot under the bridge. could have stuck with the closer one. couple audiio cuts were a little harsh, but volume was great. VO was great, as well. kind f a big build up for such a quick ending, but the after credits part was very redeeming. great to see you back in action.
3 1/4 stars and my popular vote for the week.
great to see you starring in one of your films, mike. picture quality was really great. nice rich tones. still shooting on the sony? sound was cut very seamlessly, except soe subtle stuff in the when you guys were talking on the bench at the begining. i always appreciate being able to hear the characters clearly. sound wasa kind of "canned" at the end. using that external sony mic? mine totally does that. great montage. props on getting a girl in a bra to be in your film. hehe. i havent read any reviews yet, but im willing to bet im not the only one who mentioned that ;) camera work was great, but i didnt like that cut where you said "what you talking about?" just seemed kinda out of place. man, you should have totally had her throw something on you that would have splattered. that actor is pretty good. is he new? id keep using him for sure. anyways, great flick. you got my FF choice vote for the week. 3 stars
