It seems like you had a lot more time to plan and edit then I did lol, well put together, my only complaint are some poor effects and mic quality, but other than that, its very good.
Its funny you mention the time. We shot and edited in 2 days and I wish we planned it better. Some of the shots we had for the explosions weren't executed right....but you live and learn.
I liked the underscore voice...nice and deep, rugged. I liked the graphics too...great font!
how have you never heard of this game! its for the super Nintendo. i own it. but i never beaten it. i got to the level with the gigantic ants and the huge worm. if you have never played this game, you should. its rad!
wheres the water guns and lawn mowers? I'm just kidding it was pretty good. (way better than my video)
Ha i just love all the head explosions its a really cool fx but im afraid i dont know the game.
very nice concept, a bit shaun of the dead-ish but well executed. which game is it based on?
Zombies ate my neighbors is a 16 bit game from the 90's on super nintendo. We were going for a real "B Movie" old school 70's style trailer.
Great game! You NAILED it. Idk what the guy was talking about with poor graphics, and the fact this is based on a 16 bit overhead shooter makes the fact your video captures the vibe very impressive. Adding a few of the fun weapons would have been nice though :)
We actually have a longer version of this video that has a long pan across a table with a squirt gun, soda cans, silverware and dishes on it next to the shotguns. Something had to get cut and it sure wasn't going to be heads getting blown off haha!
Well duh it's the best looking one. I wanted to see the characters say things to each other and do things but I guess that's the problem of a 30 second thing. Cool video. You're awesome. High five.
Oh and i just realized you're the dude that won the last one. Yours was awesome. I love how it started when your main character says the first line and laughs to himself. Also the dude that played the dad was hilarious. I think you'd like another video of mine called, "Project Arcturus: Chapter 4." You can find it on youtube.com/bakeryproduction. If you feel so inclined.
Great effects. They actually add to the piece instead of take away, which is awesome. Very smooth. Doing it in a trailer style works well, but still, it would be nice to get a relationship between the characters, more than a head nod. They also had little emotion. OK, I don't know the game so maybe that's the thing you were going for.
You're video quality is WONDERFUL like your last entry and I'd like to know which camera you use! I havn't seen enough 70's B movies so if I hadn't realised that's what you're going for then I would've thought this was pretty damn corny but then that's a credit to you for capturing the B movie vibe so well! And of course - well done on the effects and the 3D glasses look is very cool! :D
Hey thanks a ton. We use a Panasonic HVX 200 and shoot in 720P at 24PN. That frame rate makes for some film quality look. Then we do color correction in After effects to make it look real nice. To be honest, if something is lit right and color corrected/styled right, you don't need a great camera.
Great stuff! I'd like to see the characters be a little younger, but other than that it was perfect! I love the headshot effects.
I liked this one a lot more because it was pretty faithful and looked great. The only thing I didn't like was the monotone voice narration, if that was a little bit more exciting then this would be perfect.
Great effects; but way too much blood to be realistic for a zombie.
