I found it disconcerting how the \"video\" sound was clearer than the \"thinking\" sound. I did like the video tho. Maybe the thinking could have been echoeyer? I didn\'t get it that the dogs were think-speaking until the second viewing. Not bad at all... it just came out less clearly than I think you had intended it to be.

damn, that cheatin bitch! hehe...phunnny. i liked the dog but. that was good stuff. i also liked how you related the stuff on TV to thier situation. seemed like you handled the theme differently that the others this week, too, which was a plus. it seemed prety BLUE in there. my guess, you set your white balance for indoors, but the room was lit with natural light. anyways, nice flick.

*edit* i didnt realize there was a "thinking" part in it until i read mush's review...

Well done. \"Its probably your other boyfriend.\" Cool how you actually got the dogs in there. My dog is deathly afraid of cameras , somehow he knows I\'m filming and there may be repercussions. Clever idea. Thumbs up.

Good job intercutting in with the movie they\'re watching. The varied angles were nice, though it would be cool to see some over the shoulder shots instead of just wide to medium shots back and forth. I think you do a really good job on your movies and working on shot composition is your next step. I think you did a pretty good job framing your shots, but the last shot sems to be framed with the actors too low in the shot. The lighting was a little too washed out, but hey- I can see the actors so no big deal. Overall, a very short and sweet movie with a cute (but sort of predictable) ending. I like the dogs, too!

Using something in the public domain for them to be watching ended up being really interesting. It seemed like you were adding this sense of dullness to these characters lives, I dunno. It worked. Good lighting. I think everything was evenly balanced and you could see it, which is hard to do for watching TV in the dark, so kudos to your production value there. My biggest problem with this was that I felt detached from it. The long shots made everything so distant. The Medium Shots were even long with a lot of space. The \"close ups\" of the dogs, with the exception of the last one, were too long. Get up in there on their faces. Make us see these expressions and emotions. Also, the dogs should\'ve had peanut butter spread across the roof of their mouths so that they would open and close them and the talking would make more sense. I couldn\'t tell what was going on if I hadn\'t read some comments first. But I love you Five Clover.

Yeah, this one is ours. I am thinking we are going to film our next one in 4:3 format instead of 16:9 so people can see more of the picture within the Windows media screen here on filmfights.com.

We did the blue tint on purpose for this film to simulate better watching the movie late at night. As for the voiceovers, it was kind of tricky to remove the echo but that could probably be solved with a different microphone.

Hope you enjoyed the movie!

Alrighty, I\'m reviewing this movie as i\'m watching. I like the flick they\'re watching. It seems like you used it because it was FREE! haha, your movies are always shot extremely well. I agree with people that I had no idea the dogs were talking the first time I watched it. Really slow. But, cute. Those dogs are adorable. and I hate anamals, so thats saying alot. It was great to see you guys actually make a movie with ACTORS IN IT!!! haha, I enjoyed it. But, it could\'ve been funnier!

This was funny for Five Clover\'s first comedy. It was a cool idea that the dogs were thinking out loud. The voice overs had a bit of the echo but that\'s okay, didnt ruin anything. It was really good

Five Clover Films - Acting Review

Ok, well. The dogs were the main actors in the film. I really wish i could of heard what they were saying. Not being able to hear them took so much away from the movie. I can\'t really say anything about the actors that were sitting on the couch. The recations from them were pretty good, i would of just liked to see some more lines from them, the ending lines from the actors were really good. Also, you must have some well mannered dogs. Give them doggs a treat.

i liked the cut ins with the movie. \"your moms name is lance?\" haha that was funny. anyway, this is probably your first film to have a story.

Technically it was pretty good but I really didn\'t understand it. Are the people supposed to be talking or the dogs? The stalker-mom joke was funny though.

First off, everything is a little too staged with the dogs.
I thought the television interaction was great.. How the origran had relevant cuts to what was going on.

THe ending was a little too predictable... and your audio levels were a bit crazy, i had to change my volume alot.

BUT WITH THAT SAID - your cutting/framing was good...
