I think this movie is one of my best made on Filmfights.
I had problems to get my actors but in the end it did go very well. The forrest were we shot this was full of mosquitos so you can see why the actors are waving their hands in the first shot. Also the first shot was too dark and I light in in the post so that's why it looks bad.
Hopely we'll get to the HW sometime. :)
Music was great! For a moment, I thought it was going to be about the mosquitos!
This doesn't seem like a lightweight contender. There is creativity and thematic elements present, and I don't see any broken rules. By definition, you created a predator, and did so without conforming to the obvious. Better than some of the other films that made mid and high weight. Can't get discouraged.
agreed, honestly this should have been up with middle weights, I liked it, Just that some people don't see good talent whens its rite in front of their face. But oh well, Great Job :)
I like seeing you guys get better every filmfight you enter. This is your best one yet. I think the bear eating his face could have been more effective tho, like him struggling to get the bear off his face, and a louder roar. Good entry guys.
Pretty good, maybe one of the better lower class videos. But the freeze frames kinda stuck out a lot to me. The video was washed out as well at the beginning. I think it could have been better if you made the kid in the blue run a longer distance and get a close up tracking shot of his feet then show him tripping.
I needed to do freeze frame becauce the actor had to look at his friend dieing but he made it too quickly. I didn't watch the shots so much until I edited and then I saw the problem.
this looks so bad... over exposed, bad video format/dimensions, unstylized subtitles (you must be using a very shitty editing program)... there's a freeze frame in there-- unacceptable. WATCH THE CAMERA CLICKS. the action looks so fake. A teddy bear? yeah this is a LW for SURE. sorry guys, better luck next time.
Umm..thanks but about that editing program, I use Sony Vegas, but I'm just begining to learn how to use it. But still thanks reviewing.
I see an idea here, but unfortunately I have to agree with Jake on a few points. You really need to work on all the aspects here, shooting and editing. Watch to make sure your actors don't look at the camera. A film like this should be more suspenseful or more comedic. Maybe have the guys hiking then hear a slight growl from near them. Then maybe they happen upon a strange-looking old teddy. Then it could start to move and attack, but give the attack more shots, more struggle. Try modifying the stuffed bear so you can control it and move it's arm and stuff. Keep those ideas coming and shoot, shoot, shoot!
Yeah. I shoot and edited realy fast but I think it did go well. My actors are amatures (like me) and their acting is kind of bad. The idea was that the teddy was like litle bear but I desided to be a predator teddy. But thanks for reviewing.
