I like the opening shots on this! Good to grab attention. For a second I thought the dude was actually playing guitar, ha. Not just mopping. Good location too! Looks like focus is a little off on the "do you know where the bathrooms are" shot.

I'm sure that one of your crew made the music for this. I think it's okay but a bit distracting. Focus seems to be off on a good handful of the shots. Going from the home made music to an obviously produced track is also distracting. I'd suggest skipping the music at the start and just having the 'you are my voice' song show up at the end.

Wow, the outdoor stuff looks great!! Amazing how sunlight makes everything awesome. Especially with DSLRs.

Hey, look, it's love!

Watch your 180 degree rule - at the last two shots they are both looking the same direction.

Dude, this was pretty great - ESPECIALLY love you picked some GREAT locations. That makes such a huge diff! Characters are all of believable age (thought maybe there's some child labor laws being violated, ha). You've come so far since hte llama video !!!!!! GAH I AM SO PROUD!!!

Cute guy meets cute girl and love conquers all! Nice story. The "stay out of the way" scene seemed a tad weak, but overall this was a good little film.

Awwww the ending was perfect. You could really feel for the main character especially when the little dick yells at him. I thought this was definitely one of the bests of the fight. 4/5 stars! Good Job and Good Luck!!!!!!!!!

very cute. self scored? is this a house? a coffee shop, or both? don't like the use of copywritten music, but the one song was very fitting. yeah this was a very good and cute entry. good job.

I did do the guitar in the beginning which I kind of regret. Would have sounded better without it. And the location was a old farmhouse made into a coffee shop. I loved how it looked.

Thanks for the feedback!

Footage looks great. Some good shallow depth of field in here, too. Some of the music choices are good, but I'm not a fan of the music that starts when he gives the purse back.
Cute twist at the end.

It was cute. The audio in the beginning could of been dropped a little, I had a hard time hearing some of the talking...but that could just be me. Just one question, What did you shoot this with?

Hello! Glad to hear your opinion! The coffee shop was noisy haha.

We shot this with a Canon HV40 with a Rode VideoMic.

It's nice to see a few films on here that aren't violent or overly comedic. The two leads were absolutely awesome. There were a couple blurry shots you need to watch for, but other than that it was really well shot. Very cute, sweet story. Good job!!

Totally Loved it, Super cute. I even dig the music. Loved the locations you chose. Only thing to watch out for that was a distraction for me (I'm prolly being a jerk/anal cause no one else has mentioned) was when he lost the white board around his neck after the coffee shop, only to regain it when they meet again. But that being minor (and no one else mentioning it), I say super well done :) I loved it!

I really liked this! It was super charming from the very beginning and it's great to have a proper romantic film on FFs. I recognised you guys from your YouTube competition entry for that camera (which by the way was hilarious)- did you guys win it then to get the HV40 or was it for something else? Anyway - good to see you over here. I think you could've used to tripod less in your shots 'cause some look a little jerky as you pan and it may have looked smoother if you had tried hand held for some instead, for instance most of the shots where our mute hero is running. Oh and also I wasn't sure what the shot at 1:57 of the floor was for, maybe I just missed something. But apart from that I really liked this is it's a superb first entry to FF! Well done!

Hello!

We did not win the contest for the Olympus camera, but thanks for the comments. We were in the top 50 out of 450 though which is a success in my opinion.

I understand the jerkiness of the shots and, really, I just wish I had a dolly. I'm working on making one and possibly a slider too. If I had those prior the film it would have looked much better.

As for the random shot the floor, that was my computers fault. I am using an old Macbook that I bought 4 years ago and it is, literally, falling apart. A screw fell out of it a few days ago. When I exported it, for some reason it mismatched a frame and threw it in there for no reason whatsoever. I apologize for that and it really irritates me that it's there.

But thanks for the compliments! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I hope I have your vote!

Yea really good guys. Music was good and fit very well but somehow i felt it was a bit too distracting. Maybe for this one ambient noises could have been a bit higher. But great work.

Great, Great. Actors. Loved the run to catch up to her to return her purse. Her walk seemed a bit awkward at times. Ending to the story was the best part. Loved the scenic part of the movie.

I enjoyed this very much, it was shot well and had great music. I'm just curious though I didn't quite understand 2:27 when it cut to the empty spot then back to her face then to wide shot. Can you maybe tell me what that meant, haha because I cant go through the day with out knowing! haha good job scratch that outstanding job, keep up the good work.

Hey! Thanks for all of the compliments!

That shot was an accident. I had to export this movie a different way for Film Fights and my computer is so worn down it throws in random shots that aren't supposed to be in certain places. You can watch a version on my YouTube that isn't messed up.

Wow... there was some good stuff in this, good location decent enought acting, nice warm feel to this film. Ther were some out of focus shot and a rather radome shot a a chair? But there is some very bad use of tripods with lots of Jerky movments.
One change i would have made would be at the end after the guy grins and then she does if you had subtitles saying 'But im not going to go out with you'
