Love the exterior shot - stuff like that is smart to setup what's clearly an apartment, hah.
I like that you're redubbing your audio. Makin' sure stuff sounds good! Your color correction seems a little wonky.
I like the shot at 1:48. Cool push in. The shooting style in the house is nice. The scully lady is really pale!
During the confrontation scene, the shaking of Moulder's hand seems a little fakey. What reolution was this shot at? I see a lot of jaggy type lines. Thought this was pretty well pulled off.
YES! You just mad our day! Thanks for your comments and consideration. It means a lot to me.
Yeah, I was happy with the finished film! This is our first submission, and found the time limit a challenge, but I think we got it done.
Thank you for your note about color, I did pull down the saturation and push the contrast a bit. Maybe a little too bright? I’ll keep working on it!
I’ll be sure to have Scully lay in the sun before the next one. ^_^
I thought it no doubt deserves a Heavy Weight place! The music choice was great, the camera quality was awesome, and the car sequence turned out good. You had great sound, there's no arguing that, and the main was a great actor. Some of the text was difficult to read, you could have gone with black, maybe? And the credits went fast, but that's understandable.
From one Heavy Weight to another, good job!
Hey thank you for your comments! It really means a lot to us. The main guy was Eric Harris, my cousin and fellow actor. We all have a theatre background. I agree about the text haha, they were such a pain in the neck! The credits were because of the time limit. Thanks again for your comments!
Awesome job! This is def a HW! The sound is really good and I really like the music! I'm not a fan of the moving car scene (its not you, i never like them.) It makes the camera shakey and the moving background seems distracting to me. However the car did seem necessary from going one place to another, maybe it could have been shorter? Some of the convo before they get in? Overall, sweet film! I enjoyed it!
Thank you! Yeah, car scenes are tricky. For a LOT of reasons. We actually had to reshoot that scene, as the first one was far too dark, and bumpy, and noisy. Thank you for your comments! We'll keep working on it.
That's awesome! You have captured the X-Files in one short clip. Thumbs up for sure.
Some nice cuts here. I espesially liked the music in the house and the over sholder shots! It was confusing at some points.
Thanks man! I had a lot of fun editing this, especially those action packed scenes. Yeah, I've gotten that comment. Just another reminder how important the script is, and the production.... and post. haha
Hey!
I liked the video! The acting was decent and the shots were well thought out. I think there should have been more there though. It seemed like it build up to nothing really.
Great vid.

Mulder did a great job!!!! Sculley did well as well. I didn't like the music in the beginning when they ket. It was too loud or something...or maybe uncessary.
It is also tough to really sell this without the Theme of X-Files - that would've added so much but I'm guessing there was a restriction on that.
This was the story I enjoyed the most and you did a nice job of getting the big story continues through multiple episodes. But for this contest I think it needs to be the filler episodes where it comes to an end. I want to know more about the Suicide Guy...damn you! :)
Technically I thought this was very well done.
Good luck to you this month.
Thank you so much for your comment! It was thoughtful and honest!
I was going to record a short clip of the first five notes of the theme on piano to play with the clip at the end (which dewby design labs provided ^_^) but really liked how it looked with the music still playing over it. I will probably go for it if we make the next episode!
I'm glad you got what we were going for, that this is the pilot and in order to get more answers you'd have to tune in next week - sorta like LOST haha. We've gotten great reviews, so we might do a few more.
Thanks again for your comment!
Loved the effort and locations that went into this one. Good story good acting from Mulder!... Scully.. not so much.....
Good shots in the house at the end and I even though I wanted to know what was going on I really liked that you just let it end without giving an answer that could let the whole thing down. SO there was no, well that was a dumb reasoning.. so good job!
Hey thanks for your comments. We had a lot of fun writing the story and making this. Big props to our lead actors, they both did a great job.

I'm not gonna lie, this was basically like a long run on sentence. Really, just incoherent. I'm not sure the point you're trying to make. But thanks for the good job!
This film was as cool as it was dramatic. It had a good story bit seemed to be a little too short. It would have been nicer if they explained the villain with more detail.
Hey thanks for your comments! Yeah, a longer runtime would be nice. We might make the next episode and you'll get more answers!
Thank you man! We are all so stoked! I really appreciate it. Here's to future competition man. Cheers!
