Very creative! Audio needs work on this - with you had more voices to work from. LOVE the bloody bricks. The narrator VO seems unconvincing. If this had like ... "Real" -- raw sounding audio it would be awesome, mixed in with the lego madness. Love the title at the end, the popping of the film ... yeah, pretty awesome!

Two words: Ho-ly Shit. This is the most awesome lego animation/grindhouse movie ever! Great angles and very well animated. How long did making this went?

I didn't like the VO. It could be beter if you edited the sound. This reminds me a lot of "Machete" trailer (you've seen it too right?)
I'll give this movie 10/10 (even if VO sucked).

Great idea but I don't think it really fits in this fight. some great stop motion work and the bit where the guy gets run over is hilarious, Once again though I didn't like the voice over.

Wow! I got into the heavyweights!! I am very great full! :D
I'd like to point out that the production of this (filming, editing) I did all in two days (coming up with the idea actually took a lot longer), because I literally found out about this fight a few days ago and that's all the time I had. And yes, this is heavily inspired by "Machete"! Being slightly believable in the beginning and then right at the end throwing all the laws of physics out the window. I'm extremely glad you liked my trailer, because it was very hard for me to sit down for that long those two days. I know with VO was kind of cheesy, I didn't have someone like Don LaFontaine's voice with me at the moment so I had to go with what I had (my voice :P, I didn't like the idea either). Anyway, I'm going to go exercise now. :)
Thanks!

Wow! Machete's gone lego! Loved it! Gotta agree with everyone else though, VO wasn't so good but overall good effort and amazing effects in bringing the legos to life. I love these kind of videos and the talent and creativity that comes stapled to this project is AWESOME. Hope to see more like this in future fights! 4/5 stars!

This has the makings of an excellent B-Movie just because it successfully combines the necessary blood and violence needed for a movie like this.

Holy freaking crap!!!! This is just awesome! Why the heck didn;t you get this in before I voted? The time and effort you put in must have been insane. Nice Work.

The VO was ok and some of the dialog was lame...but it's B-Movie, right? :)

I think you should win.
Good Luck.

BEST LEGO EXPLOITATION FILM I HAVE EVER SEEN.

GJ

I didn't like the text that said Previews of Coming Attractions...looked too amateurish and didn't fit the rest of the video.

Nice use of Whelhelm screams

Thanks, man! I know the "previews of coming attractions" title was pretty bad, but it was literally the last thing I had to put in the video and while I was still editing it, it was like, 11:59pm. So I was rushing like crazay, but that was before I found out that these guys are pretty chill about what time you submit. Also, I hate the font, but I really didn't want to be scrolling through fonts for hours so I just picked one at random. XP
Glad you liked it though!
Best of luck to you with your awesome entry!

Easily the most inventive piece submitted. This was really fantastic. I love the red bricks as blood when the car smears him across the ground. A really nice Grindhouse plot line and excellent use of Legos. It's a tough call: "Out-Law" for taking the cake with originality or "Brain Melt" for being the most accurate Grindhouse trailer submitted. Well done, Filmyguy! I think you have my vote.

haha I absolutely loved this one. My one criticism is that I think it needed some other voices, was a bit too obvious that there was only one person recording the voice overs. Other than that, totally awesome. I feel like playing with Lego again. :)

This was purely awesome! I have done stop-motion before and understand how hard it is! This was greatly entertaning! The only thing I would say needs work on, would be the muzzle flashes on the machine gun. I feel like it should have been done with lego. Also, I loved the lego bloodsplatter when the car ran over that guy! Awesome film. I hope you win!
