The shot at 5 sec is SO AWESOME! Love it. Music is really cute too. All the shots are well composed. The title sequence looks great, feels like Juno or something.

Her parking the bike and that stuff, that shot felt a little too long, some general trimming could be useful here. All the locked on shots are awesome. What a beautiful area you live in!!! I WANT TO LIVE THERE TOO!

The shot of the people staring at the bike theif are a little jittery. Color correction seems off too.

The shot of the bike being hit is good. I love the sound effects and the cutting, REALLY GOOD! Very smart use of editing to convey something that'd be tricky to do otherwise.

poor brok'ed bike - wow the time lapse at the end, beautiful!!!

REALLY great stuff guys, this is like an awesome music video. What a great submission!!!

Loved this! Good to see you guys back at last! It was a well told little story and you had loads of great artistic shots goin on. How did you get the first time lapse shot to do a slow tilt - was it in post or did you use a special timed rig? It was nice how there was very little sound apart from the crash and the music - I'm sure there was a hell of a lot of rattle noise from the bike. And for the those shots did you use a normal clamp or one of those GoPro cameras? Well done!

The look of the video was great, and I love the whole idea. The time lapses were very cool also. I gotta get me one of those GoPro cameras!

Thanks for all your great comments! I feels awesome to read them.

Volatile,
The timelapse was static shot made of 12MP photos which were taken every 20 seconds for around an hour. Because of the huge resolution we had a lot of space to play with and the tilt was done in post using keyframes in Final Cut. ALL the sound was done in post. We did everything on a GH1 DSLR so no GoPro here. We mounted it on the bike with a gorillapod. You can find a picture of it over here http://vimeo.com/16830203.

First of all that was a very good looking film. Your shot choice was excellent and felt like a very fresh style of filming. Its proberly just my interent but when there was a cut a got a bit of lag so that did annoy me but its hardly your fault. Inanimate object are always the best the this kind of thing and i think you did a great job showing its day. I thought the story was good but i was left feeling slightly like there should have been more to it, some kind of twist or something that surprised me. Maybe if you had made the crash with the car a bit more of a bigger thing, that might have done it.
Very good film, you should be very proud

1) Fantastic title sequences. 2)Amazing transition cuts.
I really liked that an entire story played out, and with no spoken dialog. Kudos!
