We did try out some gunshot sounds, but couldn't maintain the feel that we established in the earlier shots. Perhaps some more experimenting would have resulted in the sound effect staying in the film.

Thank you for your review. We found ourselves committed to the idea of the film by the time we remembered that it was supposed to have a holiday theme. We are really trying to stick with the stated themes as we plan out our next movies. Looking for that Heavyweight rating!

Thank you for the review. We also agree with you about the gunshot affect as we had considered putting it in, but found it to be distracting with our otherwise quiet soundscape. We had also noticed the "small crank" but forgot about it when it came time to edit - there's always more to learn.
