Great interviews!! I loved the tackle part too. I (no lie) watched that 10 or so times. Nice work.
i know what its like to film like that alone. it sucks. decent editing... ramblin banjos? \"i hit him wiht a 2by4\" lol. the shots were real boring though... as was the overall product, it needed something more. but, keep it up!

This was pretty good. I am in a throw up between you guys and saturnine. i like the blind girl. and the game players with the controller with no cord. I hope your camera didnt get ruined in the proccess of the tate football take down. the homeless guy was awesome.
Well it all makes sense now.
thank you for that short but...>pointless< moment in my life.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I\'ll be real honest -- I haven\'t seen you come out before, and it may just be because I\'m new. If this is your first time out, GREAT WORK. \"You\'re stealin my soul\" was hilarious! I liked the randomness of it all. The dialogue was REALLY good in this. Whoever wrote it -- props. I think it could have used a wee bit of editing, but I really liked the story behind it. It really stayed on topic and I thought it was really fun to watch. That dude really plows that guy! :) I definitely want to see more from you guys!
Grade: B+
Sounds exactly like me. This was nicely edited and this also reminds me of how badly our group needs a boom mic. I\'m looking forward to see more of your work.
This one wins my vote for the week. The guy tackling the camera was classic. I am wondering if you really hurt your camera because it sure seemed like it. If you added additional sound to that scene, good job!
I also laughed at the scene of you going back and forth trying to do everything for the film. Also liked the homeless lady person.
Good job this week.
the putting together of a film group is not a bad premise. You guys are just getting started so I suppose you have really nothing else to do a \"behind the filmgroup\" picture on.
the random comments about things ike the 2by4 thing were I know intended to be witty jokes... but the way they were delivered left a lot to be desired. Some how it seems like the wittiest of jokes just need something more, a 1shot of you in a chair just wasn\'t enough here, why, I am not exactly sure, but I didn\'t laugh, so, something didn\'t work.
What was the girl holding? is she supposed to be a hippy?
I think if this was a \"based on a true story\" of how this happened I would wonder, it seemed for us the filmgroup just fell together.
I didn\'t understand the kid playing the video games, or that whole scene. however, giving each crew member their own personality was decently done. much like ours. not a bad job, bits were slow and boring but... good still.
This wasn\'t bad at all. As a matter of thinking points only, I would suggest more visual interest on some of the interviews, but not because I think you had a problem with the product in the least. Simple changes like filming outside, a coffee table in shot, short visual cuts with audio over action shots. Something like that.
The tackle and the homeless guy were classic as was the idea. Good editing and good use of lighting. Nice cuts, and good clean transitions. Nice use of shots, and (a particular nit-pick of mine) good job on not draging a scene to death. All in all, I think you did a good job.
Hey guys, cool vid.
My main critiques are technical-related... it looks like you guys only have access to a handheld camcorder with in-camera sound (which isn\'t your fault), but with a little bit of well-aimed light your interior shots could look twice as professional. As far as sound goes, each scene had a different sort of white noise (which, again, cannot be helped), but if you had put a soft music track under the whole thing it would have tied it together better from an audio standpoint. And I\'m not sure what you\'re editing on, but you may want to mess with the color balance and/or filters to bring out the colors in your shots. (Sony Handicams can make for some drab-looking shots otherwise.)
On the flip-side, I thought the editing was pretty quick an efficient. And the camera hit was very believable/real-- maybe by breaking your camera you\'ll be able to get a better one? :)
I didn\'t get bored because it moved quickly enough, but I would have liked to get more background on the \"soul-stealing\" guy and the guy who hit the camera. (Why was he so angry, what did he add to the group, etc.)
Looking forward to more from Zag Yo. Peace.
Hahaha nice. My vote for this week... everypart was great!
neat titles. simple, but nice looking and readable. i liked the bit about doing all the work yourself with the sped up footage. the guy hitting the camera was pretty good, too. the homeless guy was my favorite part. audio was good. lighting could have been better. nice film, but needed a little more ZING to get my vote, this week...
i think that you guys will do better with a topic that is more fun, and i look forward to it.
HAHAHAHAH great writing, great acting, cool camera work, good pacing. I watched it twice. SO far the best one.
