i liked all the split screen stuff you had going on. i take it they do that in the show 24? i really cant judge how well you pulled off the parody, cause i have never sen that show, but i still enjoyed this as a short film. it had some well done dry humor and some creative shots. i especially liked when the guys were riding in the elevator talking about his jacket. my only advice is to work on the audio transitions and maybe some color corection stuff. other than that, i really enjoyed this entry.
I think the best thing about this week is that every video was backed with an awesome idea. Well done. Would of taken me forever to edit that split screen stuff , well done. My favorite part is the basketball shot thats totally irrelevant to the plot. well chosen. good movie.
Ok...this one. I didn\'t really like the square-vision you had going on, I know it\'s supposed to be like 24 or whatever...but it was kind of annoying. And the whole idea of doing a 24 parody not only proved to be uncreative seeing as how many people did it, but the idea of alone is uncreative. But I did like the way the two stories came together. Which brings me to another point, sometimes making a filmfight entry about filmfights can prove to be funny...but in situations like this...it\'s just probably better to make a movie that can stand on it\'s own if filmfights didn\'t exist.
Oh GOddddammmnit.
I just wrote a huge review and the second I click submit, the site goes down for a second, just to friggin\' spite me. That was mean, website.
So, basically I said - I liked the \'inconveniant\' line - I liked that you used multiple cameras FOR REAL - the villian was in a cool area wearing appropriate garb, but I wish the audio on his voice was better.
And the MAIN thing this needed was music! Music would have made it move and flow so much better, music would have also masked the buzzing from the camera recording. Music would have made this go from a very good entry, to an excellent one.
So, in summation, don\'t forget about music!
Acting could use some touching up. \"This is SO INCONVENIENT!\" is a great line. I love your \"Jack\" character. I also like \"Foil proof.\"
You had a few good scenes, but it overal lacked from a decent plot. It was kind of hard to follow. As I continued watching the movie, I grew to hate the inconvenient line. I don\'t know how much help this is, but whateva
Zag Yo, you complete me! What a concept -- an original, funny take making fun of 24 and all the nuances. \"This is so inconvenient!\" Ok, HILARIOUS. This film gets my vote for Heavyweight. Great job pulling off another rock solid entry this week, Zag Yo. *The* best take on 24 this week, too!
I liked it a lot. I really like your idea and the twist you did with the two stories running at the same time, but feel that you tried to cram too much into 4 minutes. It just starts getting confusing and you aren\'t really sure what stories are important to what characters. Not that the idea itself couldn\'t work, but if you have only 4 minutes to work with, sometimes you just have GOT to simplify.
Don\'t misunderstand, though. It was a great flick overall.
I watched this on your site before, and liked it then. You doods are funny and clever. ALittle more light, and MUSIC!!!! \"this is so inconvinent!!\" GOlden. The villain and hero were great. Nice duel camera work. I think your plans for 2 victories in a row are \"in foil-able\". The pacing was a bit slow. Oh yeah did I mention....MUSIC!!!!! Regardless I am super excited that your group is part of FF\'s.
luv,

Being a fan of \"24\", I thought this was a very funny entry. I especially liked the line \"This is so inconvenient\"! Your actor who played Jack was especially good. And when the guy got shot by Jack, his flailing around and dying was classic, I laughed out loud.
It was very impressive that you guys put together the 4-images screens for your film as well, I couldn\'t figure out how to do that for our film. The random people playing basketball was classic! I also liked how the 24-count clock turned into \"Zag Yo Films\".
Beyond that, there are some lighting and audio issues that you need to work on for the next entry. The \"bad guy\" is in way too dark of an auditorium. And some music would help to block out the sound of your camera zooming. Also some sound mixing would help to knock out some of that \"dead air\" sound.
Overall a good entry this week!
