Like most weird movies, I like this one more after seeing it multiple times. The effect of multiple people becomes more realistic... or maybe that\'s just because it\'s later...
nice mirror. hey, i reckognize that dude from the ganster flick. whats with the sheets? should have put some on the BED. hold on. i tired, but cannot hear who you said you model yourself after. the dude on the chair is much easier to hear than the other rwo.l especially the bed guy. he is really quiet. (yeah, i realize its the same person.) garibaldi. i have to look that person up...
\"Giuseppe Garibaldi (July 4, 1807 – June 2, 1882) was an Italian patriot and soldier of the Risorgimento. He personally led many of the military campaigns that brought about the formation of a unified Italy. He was called the \"Hero of the Two Worlds\", in tribute to his military expeditions in South America and Europe.\"
...for everyone else who doesnt know who that is. maybe i should? anyways, that still doesnt make sense of it for me. i think im too dumb to understand this one. lighting was decent, audio could have been better. overall pretty good.
ok the begining fonts are too quick.. nice quote though. if you;re going to play two different personalities...make them more different.
background music is too loud and distracting.
can i just say that may have been too much to squeeze into a short period of time. I also think that IT WENT OVER MY HEAD...
not bad for a one man production. ending titles were different - the name was SMALL what they did BIG. I love your ending pills thingy. love it.
that\'s all.
Sounds like there\'s a lot of white noise for some reason on the left channel in the intro. Oh mannn, you need to remember to center your audio. It\'s so weird just coming out of one channel. Is the right channel your regular mic? Almost sounds like an echo.
I don\'t have a good feeling of the \'space\' these two characters are in. It seems like a simple set, I wish you had some long shots with split screen to set up the spacing of everyone. That\'s a very simple effect to pull off.
Interesting comment with the book characters looking like yourself. I don\'t know if I do that, but it seems like a possibilty.
Maybe I should be more familiar with the source material? Not sure all this fancy schmancy author stuff!
The main thing you need to take away from this, is to have some more establishing shots. I felt pretty much lost the whole time since my brain couldn\'t set up the \'stage\' where all the characters were existing. And always edit with headphones on so you know when your audio channels are wonky,
Visual:
Bit hard to read the opening... Maybe a different font next time? Good quote.
My main problem with this movie is the framing. The alignment of the characters in the frames keeps changing. There\'s overlaying and a lot of crossing the line which makes it harder to enjoy. I couldn\'t tell who the characters were talking to at parts...
Audio
The sound keeps jumping, some of the lines I can\'t hear.
The actor didn\'t seem to be talking to the same person in the conversation. It was like the other part of the conversation kept moving around. The music is good, but it overwhelmed the lines at parts.
