You guys cheated by linking a 2000+ kbps file! No fair! Your video looks beautiful. I hope you have to spend millions of dollars in bandwith to make up for that advantage. :)

Seriously, the video looks amazing. Mike, you are a really awesome filmmaker and this video here is no exception. I\'ve always dug watching your stuff, and this one actually gave me a little goose-bumpy rxn when she had her turning point. Really awesome stuff. Looks great, feels great.

We\'re still gonna wipe the floor with you. BRING IT! FILMFIYGHTZZZZZ!!!!

Dig the music so far, maybe if there were some more scary sound effects in that opening sequence it would have been better.

Ahhh, I see, no audio in any of it. Makes sense then! This is like classic Five Clover right, no talking, haha. I still love it.

Cool shot under the table.

Throw the shit outta that phone!!! great orange color on that little trick or treat basket. Really pops on the shot.

An affirming message for Halloween! Quick and great little short.

YO, MIKE!! dude, you gotta start compressing these files, more. took FOREVER to load. anywas, what an awesome flick. your shots are so good, man. looks liek you did a little more handheld than usual. shot through the cofee table was brilliant. very quick and to the point. i think a couple longer shots would have added to the drama. i really liked that you variated fromt he normal halloween horror movie. would have been especially great if there were more submissions this week. looks like you are getting pretty good with lighting, too. the hall shots with the asian mom and daughter and sink shot could have been a little brighter. this new girl can act. make sure shes in more of your films. always nice to see a well shot drama on here. keep breaking the mold, my friend!

Great video. Very dramatic and compelling. I think it didn\'t have much to do with the halloween theme but I\'m new here so maybe I\'m just missing something.

4 stars for the video, 3 stars for matching the contest theme.

So this entry was ours, and it was a fun one-day shoot and then another couple of days to edit it all together. I like that the tie in to Halloween only really comes at the end of the film. I tried not to make this too preachy, although \"Mary\" does pour the alcohol down the drain at the end, I thought it was interesting to see her progression toward getting there and finally making a move to change her life.

A couple of people have commented that the lighting could have been on a little more in a couple of scenes, which I might have been able to fix with some brightness correction.

Hope you enjoyed our film!
