I know this was a spoof movie, but haven\'t you been to Vampire 101? Vampires can\'t enter somebody\'s house unless they invite them dude. Funny while he was still breathing w/ no bite marks. Tons of fake blood would have been cool. Really poor lighting after he goes in search, shoulda made it in a streetlight or something. I didn\'t even know what happened. Hahhaha, funny fight scene.

Spare Parts-7/10-I have to admit, it had a few scenes that needed another take, but it was okay for what we already had. It wasn\'t really excellent or anything, but it was our first attempt at a serious movie, so give us some credit. Our first time in heavyweights too. (I\'d think a lot of you would like it...I die in it!)

Although night vision is cool when used sparingly, you relied on it just a little too much here, and some scenes were way too dark to tell what\'s going on toward the end of the film. Vampires are always cool, but I wasn\'t feeling too scared about what was going on.

Great opening. I don\'t particularly like the music but the narration is well chosen. The rest is pretty much standard \"hey, it\'s my first film\" material: outrageously mainstream music samples, music from the matrix, bad cuts, continuity/structure issues, no real story or character to speak of, natural lighting and/or night vision. Nonetheless, I had fun watching it; the scene with the officer is very funny. The rapper\'s shout is also priceless. Congrats for the fight scenes, it\'s great to see people actually dare to do one. We\'ll have the occasion to see more fights in the upcoming action movie sequel fight.

The audio was bad, the lighting was worse and the first song picked was gimmicky. Remember, when you are shooting, you can\'t have too much light as long as your colors are good. You can always darken up the shots in post, but you can\'t really add light. The first part, I understand why you wanted it dark, but for it to look like someone is really running around in the dark, use a flashlight and kill that awful night shot. People don\'t see in nightshot.

The cop actor, should have been cast as the dead guy. The dead guy, needs to not flare his nostrils and swallow whilst pretending to be dead.

The fight scene, not great. Don\'t \"Delete a scene for time restrictions\" find a way to make it work. Ninja! Films does it in EVERY FILM it\'s a gimmick of theirs and quite expected.

The vampires weren\'t believable as vampires. What self respecting vampire with absolutely no concern for human life is going to watch a friend get killed and say \"OK, no worries, after all I did kill your friend\" Not gonna happen. Also, you should dub the audio for the vapires talking in, that way they can say their lines without the teeth in their mouths, vampires are used to talking with fangs, they\'d be able to ENUNCIATE!

As for the audio, you just need a new mic.

I assume that those news clips were in the song already, and not something that you added in later. The shot of the vampire at the start is pretty neat. I would have liked to see the blood look more realistic, perhaps be dripping from his fangs.

The sound is absolutely awful, totally kills this movie. I don\'t understand how someone can watch their own movie and not realize that it\'s impossible to hear anything at certain points. You guys could use a little help on the acting ... perhaps try doing a movie without any talking - some people are a lot better at physical acting as opposed to actually talking. Fight sequence seems awkward, more cuts would have been a good idea.

For this film I shall absolutely exclude the urban ledgeneds of vampires and such. Vampires can\'t enter a home with out being invited, vampires can\'t be near garlic, crucafises or any holy relects and so on. All of those are urban myths orginateing from Slavic tails and also a lot of intereptations from Bram Stoker\'s Dracula, in which he collected information upon vampires by reaserch in old myths. Trust me, I\'m a vampire freak. Okay, enough at that.

There were a ton of technical problems in this movie which the other reviewers have pointed out. Too dark, terrible audio and indistinctive plot. I felt that this was sort of an excuse to make an action horror flick. But I must admit, the lame attributes to this film makes it actually humorous.

If you guys really like your film idea; I would most defantly refilm it and fix the technical values, add more dialogue and plot along with conflict to help explain what it is about. Vampire flicks are fun, no doubt about it you guys just need to work on your filming and scripting.

It was at night. You had no lighting. I could not see anything. This was very boring.

As always, your love Kevin Mosley.

This Godsmack song is cool. This is moving very slow. The silence in 80% of the shots doesnt really work. Work on framing the shot. Dont frame the subject and keep half of the shot empty above his/her head. Way too dark. Work on cutting the movie to make it flow a lot faster.
