This one was real good, the best if you ask me, the only thing I think it misses is seeing the two guys (who you saw in the beginning) at the ending as well as the beginning, the guy telling the story shoulda ended it in some way like \"the murder was never found... (and then something scary)\" or something like that, but other than that, I think it rocked.
and WOW, wasn\'t that dangerous strapping that knife onto the cue and then strange someone with it? I mean the knife was real close to that guys hand, I admire that guys courage
if you read all this, you\'re a trooper.
first off, i love 300, so i dig the idea. at first, i thought this was going to be silly, and i was all \"oh man, why?\" but then as i watched i was impressed to find you took the matter fairly seriously, but you just didn\'t quite milk it as much as you could. people who snap like this are generally kinda creepy/crazy. perhaps you could have given us more internal views on the guy who snapped, and lose the beginning \"campfire story\" because its cliche. just be aware its fun (at least for me) to witness more of the leading up to the snapping part. i like the slow motion stuff, and the costume. its typical, and it really works, even though i had to giggle at the trash lid thing.
now, i know you said you were going to school for this soon, so here\'s a little tip for teacher brownie points: i know it as the 180 DEGREE RULE. case in point: you\'re spear toss. victim walks right, killer runs right, killer throws LEFT, knife flies RIGHT, dude dies FALLING RIGHT, then killer enters with body having FALLEN LEFT. does that confuse you? yes, because its violating the 180 degree rule. you can\'t switch angles on us like that or it comes off as seriously whacked. :)
overall, i like it. but probably because i like 300. it didn\'t creep me out as much as it could have, but it was definitely sweet. good job.
I can\'t see a thing! Might want to work a little on your lighting, especially at night. One thing to keep in mind is that even if a scene looks bright in your camera, or on your computer, the rendered copy will never look quite as good, so you need to plan ahead. Night vision is also very tricky to work with. Pretty neat concept and music, though.
I thought it was a cool video. The guy playing the part really looks NUTS!! Fun Video. I enjoyed it. I will watch for this film maker.
Blue Smoke. It\'s a pleasure.
Fire, good start, I like fire.
Who keeps a butcher knife in a tool box? One with no rust.
This is not pleasing me.
The movie editing isn\'t all that bad, but the movie making could have been much better. And the story could have been much much better.
Good slow zoom in him watching the TV / monitor.
Careful, the audio is a little shoddy here. With dark scenes or scenes you can\'t really see, it\'s best to record it twice - once from a very very close angle, once from far away, then you can dub in the audio from the closer shot.
Yeah! Stab that garage stuff!!! Stab it! Wicked cape.
You guys just wanted an excuse to do that slow motion effect, didntya?
I would have done some color correction on this. The colors end up looking reallllly bland. Even tweaking the \'level\' settings and the saturation, to make it more like the film would have made a big difference.
Ah, nightvision ... I don\'t approve of it, but sometimes ya gotta use it.
The best thing about this was you kept it moving. Tight editing made it quite watchable.
