Whoa, cool chase/fight scene! Justin is going to make a review show, but I think I might still make a video review. If not, I will write a formal review later in the forums.

Agreed with Jeremy. That fight/chase scene was REALLY well edited. You really captured the essence of the Hollywood chase/fight. Did you have access to that construction site or did you sneak on? Also, I think that if you embed your movie, you\'re exempt from the 15 meg filesize limit if that\'s what you\'re talking about in your description. I embedded mine on Vimeo and it\'s gotta be WAY more than 15 megs.

I\'ve only got three gripes:
-The story was hard to follow (I couldn\'t tell if the second kid was imaginary, or if he was just thinking of him during breakfast)
-The lighting could be tweaked a bit in a couple of the indoor scenes. Do what I did on my movie and buy some cheap clamp lights from Home Depot and clamp them onto some mic stands or unused camera tripods to better fill in the lighting. On the other hand, everything looked awesome outdoors.
-Try using some indy music (with permission). That way you could submit this to film festivals without worry about the RIAA coming after you.

Keep up the good work.

I like the framing of your shots. Is this maybe an HV-series camera? Ha! The guy bailing on his bike is awesome! Excellent touch. Ooh, supermarket location, also nice. Glad to see you gettin\' out of the apartment and making use of your surroundings.

Oh snap, guy trapped in box!

THROW those magazines to the ground! Don\'t rifle through something half way if you\'re really a man on a mission! Go nuts! You can pick it all up later :)

I see you guys also have auto-iris on ... boo on auto iris. Oh well.

LOVE the shots of running around. The music is great too. Great shots, you kids are crazy! I hope I\'m not liable if you hurt yourselves. ... hmmm.

I remember when I could run around like that and not feel sore the next day - you guys are made of rubber!

Especially like the shot at 2:49.

Yes, it\'s true, not much of a plot to this one. Good sound effects on the fight sequence! Some of them seem to cut a little short though.

Ha! Don\'t drink that smirnoff ice! That stuff is gross.

Cup o\' tea. Ahh, that reminds me of how tired I am ... and how tired I will be when I wake up. I see --- it\'s his fight club invisible friend :D Fun.

Lots of stuff right in this submission! See ya next fight ?

AHA -- Film Fights intro at the END! I see you\'re trying to play game with me here, haha - typically best to have it at the start, but you\'ve got in in there, by crimminey, so I\'ll be nice and let it slide.

I'd have to agree with Justin. It's easy to foget, and because of that, I laugh my ass off when that guy wipes out on his bike at the beginning.

i wish i had an HV- series! no it's just some old sony DV handycam, so it's pretty hard to get the best shots possible with it.

what is auto iris? the only things on my camera which are not auto are: exposure and focus (though it's controlled by a tiny touchscreen so it's really annoying to handle).

the guy being chased is actually a gymnast, he has been dutch (youth) champion a few times.

the smirnoff was for a ''he was drunk and watching an action movie'' kind of thing.

next fight? hmmm detectives. could be. i actually have kind of a problem with the language because our english is not that good and a dutch movie with subs loses a bit of its charm to an english audience

yeah... at the END i just thought it fitted there better with the music and stuff

Awesome chase scene, good framing and great composition. I didn\'t understand why he was chasing him or why he snuck in his apartment but the chase ws definitely entertaining and well done. I love the random bike crash at the beginning, would of been nice to see you and the mailman react more to it. But all in all very good job.

thanks, he was actually looking for a mysterious 'something' and i happen to be the mailman but i wanted, on purpose that we didn't react to it because it had to be something completely in the background and irrelevant to the plot

The locations used in this short were awesome!

Most of the problems I noticed were audio related, like the \"special delivery\" line was out of sync I\'m pretty sure. Also the audio in some of the fight scene clips was noticeably cut short.

One more minor problem was lighting, which could have been improved on some of the interior scenes.

Other than that this short was great! Great work!

The special delivery line is perfectly in sync, maybe it looks that way... Maybe my lips move in an unusual way? But i further agree with you and thanks for giving your opinion

WOOOOWWWWW!!!!!!

You guys are masters at shot selection! I couldn\'t even comprehend the variety of angles you put into this! The editing was very crisp and well done. The pace of the film was faster than a humming bird on crack. The look of this film is beautiful, and i would bet money you used the HV series. The scenery was awesome, especially for an action film. Im glad you didn\'t just do a fight scene in your backyard. You actually went all over town! I love the shot where the kid jumps over the guy on the park bench. Awesome. And the part where he slides his foot into the dudes face was great. Didn\'t seem to be any lighting problems as far as i remember. Your audio wasn\'t bad, since you didnt really speak in it.

Im seeing some people gripe about the storyline. Well honestly man, when i see an action film, the storyline comes second to me. When im in the mood for action, that means i want to shut my brain off and just enjoy simplicity at its finest. Which is what you basically did storywise. So i really dont see a huge deal with that. I didnt understand the ending really. Was it all a dream?

KUDOS TO VELVET UNDERGROUND!!!!!!! :) Great song, and it worked beautifully. I love using old school music in my films, so i totally dig people who do as well. I could definitely sense a Jason Bourne type of pace and style in this film, so that was funny you had Bourne Ultamatium playing. Overall, i was greatly impressed, and you guys are ahead of your game. I havnt seen the others yet, but im pretty confident your getting my vote.

One word..........................AWESOME!!! The chase scene was incredible. Only problem was lack of story. I didnt really know why he was there or why he was being chased, but still by far the best action scene. Lastly i love Prodigy as much as the next guy but you gotta use non copyright music so you dont have any problems. Good luck

This is one of the top submissions this week. There\'s very little to complain about here and alot to praise. Great pacing, great camera work, and great music. The locations gave the movie a very nice visual touch. Good colors through the supermarket and then throughout the chase. The only thing that seemed like it could use some work was the audio clips in the fight scene. Because the audio was benig cut between the different angles, it gave the scene a choppy feel. Excellant work! Don\'t worry about subtitles in future submissions. People love subtitled movies.

Man, great video. I wanted to post an action/parkour video too and you guys really schooled me on that lol.

I LOVE the guy bailing on the bike. Really great touch. Can\'t be topped.

And the parkour stunts and shots along with the editing is fantastic.

These guys look young. How old?

Stream of conscienceness review.

Really cool opening shot. I really like it when movies don\'t start with a credit. That voice over thing was really weird. But, I loved the guy falling on his bike. Nice touch. The shots in this look really cool.Especially since you guys seem so young. This is the third film i\'ve watched with a person being the \'special delivery\' I\'m glad I didn\'t shoot my concept about the pregnant woman. This shot structure is really nice, and the editing is crisp. Cool music for most of it. I couldn\'t understand what the guy said. I like the guy getting jumped. Wow, really exciting action. This is fun to watch. As great as this is, I really hope it calms down a bit soon... and right after I said that, it did. Nicely done. Awesome kick in the face. The sound effects for parts of this seem spot on. But, on some part seem unnatural. It would suck so bad to get kicked in the face. Ouch. Woulda\' liked to\'ve seen just a bit of blood in all that violence. Cool music at the end. Goofy ending shot.

Closing thoughts: I think you were being a biittt flexible with the title. One second of \"Special delivery\" isn\'t really enough for me. I would\'ve liked the chase to be more of a \"I have to deliver this shit fast\" sort of thing. But, overall one of the better movies of the week. Shots were good, editing was tight. Nicely done.

a lot of people seem to think the special delivery line is a voice over... but it isn't maybe the audio is not synced in final cut... nope looks perfect i don't know why it looks like that though.

i think i actually stuck with the title and description pretty well: the main character is presented with a "special delivery" he wasn't expecting. Thrill us and include a good action sequence

the action sequence is caused beacause this guy got this delivery he wasn't expecting

but anyway thanks for commenting.

I\'m re uploading a new version with improved editing and sound blending.
I also added (maybe excessive) color correction, i downed the blacks and upped the whites so it looks very washed out and gritty and i added an orange tone to the scene when he wakes up.

tell me what you think and again maybe it\'s a bit excessive but i think it has more of an atmosphere than the original version
