The Expendables
Genre: AnyRules: You know that AMAZING ACTION movie coming out? Called "The Expendables"? We want your take on the TITLE of the movie; what else or who else is expendable? No action allowed.
It's Dracy!! Haha. You're an awesome vampire. Audio could have been clearer on you though. Compression is really weird, I can tell you had a bitch of a time exporting :( This was really funny and one of my fav submissions from you in a while! Also ... bewbs.
Ha, I enjoyed it. Nothing wrong with black face. Nothing. I wish the quality was better, and you didn't have a fade in the film. The concept is good, but the timing wasn't nearly as good as it could have been. Work on timing for your next film!
This is by far my favorite thing you've done quality wise, your acting was great and the hotness always helps. I liked your buildup- the black face was hilarious. Great job!!
OK, I am not going to lie, I LOLed at the blackface. I can see where you have some compression problems. That could be with all the trouble you had. Alasdair. WHITE BALANCE. You had some refrigerator noise going on in your kitchen scene, too. Softened those cuts up. "is it my hair??" haha. I did like your hair in that, btw. That girl is a pretty good actor. I think you might have been able to make HW with this one if you cleaned up your editing on it. And set your WHITEBALANCE. Good laugh, though, for sure.
I really enjoyed this. That sentence may discourage any future employers, but seriously, technical issues aside, that was brilliant.
And that young lady was pretty darn attractive.
Also, i am pretty sure i am posting these reviews incorrectly. Sorry about that.

loved the vampire's voice! Blackface was a funny idea too, especially with recent events. The only thing i would change is the shot where she throws water on him, cut it quicker. Maybe have the shot of her throw water then the shot of him getting hit so you can see his reaction?
You make a real good vampire, Alasdair. I liked this one quite a bit and with a little more effort, this easily could have been a heavyweight.
Promote this to HEAVYWEIGHT!
Awesome job. I don't get how this is in a different category than Cashew text party.
This entry came in late, which weighed on the decision.
First off -- good use of music; you clipped your audio on one of the segments -- i know this was an especially good exercise for you in cutting your time down/unnecessary "stuff" out.
I like you referencing the camera when it is time to put the disguise on. Now the next part saddens me cause I accidently saw a review -- and they talked about the blackface --- so unfortunately was not as great of a surprise as it should have been.
the "is this my hair comment was great!!" slight jumpcut with you at the table... BUT
overall this is BY FAR one of KJL's best efforts!!! good cutting different shots... your normal cheesy comedy ;) loved it.
I hope when you go home on christmas break there can be some ninja happenings with your friends from home! that would be a bad ass christmas present for filmfights.
Thank you for your comments on my film as well -- it was good constructive criticism and i would have actually taken some of your advice :)

"Woo Hoo! Thank you to all of you who voted for our film. We are really excited as well as surprised by the win. With all the obstacles we faced in this fight we feared it wouldn't be as greatly acceptedd as it turned out to be.
We are very happy that we were able to fight our way up, with your help, from Middleweights to this. We are looking forward to the coming fights and hope we can continue producing quality films for your entertainment. Thanks for the compitition and we hope you all keep bringing it.
Special Thank You's: Audra - for helping on such short notice. Everyone who said we needed to be bumped up a weight class. Jake- For overseeing the whole operation in Justin's absence.
