Careful with your submissions being the right size. Should be 640x360 with no padding on the sides. I like seeing someone do animation - I feel it's not used enough on the site! This guy was a bit short for our normal mini-fights, which are supposed to be 30 seconds.
If you're blowing up a turkey I wanna see some turkey bits flying everywhere! Who is Todd? What's his deal? Why does he like walks? Who exploded him? Lots of details you could hvae used the extra 15 seconds to explain. "BUT THEN WE WAS EXPLODED" does make me LOL a bit, haha.
I liked it, but just like Justin said, it was short. You should give it more of a plot, you know, climax, resolution, all that jazz. Other wise, this was a good animation.
Everything I see from you, I think, this guy has a graphic design eye, which is something many video people (to their detriment) lack. I'd love to see what you can do with a little more story and production involved.
The audio level of the voice over should be higher, to overcome the ambient sound effects (which I'm glad you thought to include). Also, you can hear a little distortion on the "exploded" line, because the recording levels were too high (peaked to the red line).
That is some pretty cool animation effects. I think I read that this was your first attempt at any animation. I know that can be hard, because I have tried and failed. Good job at doing better than I could have. This was a fun little cartoon. Probably needed a little more substance to make HWs, but definitely a nice stab at the minifight. Cheers!
