Clarity is BACK in the heavys!!! The husband actor is great. I love the shot of the ball slowly rolling - there's something cute about that. Way better than just a static shot. I love how the kids in the laughing shot look totally weirded out. The laugh at the end is great. I feel like your white balance might be a little bit off. Overall, I dig this sick n' twisted film
I rate this a B+ !!!
Did you notice that all the heavyweights (thus far) went with the death/gore angle? What's wrong with us? I'll chalk it up to still being in the Halloween storytelling mindset.
Great audio and shot composition/variety. The whole thing is really well laid out.
I don't know how explicit you want to be with the baby foreshadowing, but the 2 black and white shots don't scream "absence of baby" as much as I think they could. The first one, especially with the screen and baby doll - for all I know the baby is in there. That's the only place I see that could be stronger.
Haha. Its very clear that no one can take this assignment and do something serious. Love the black and white shots, especially the one where the ball slowly rolls away. Shot choice really told the story well, especially when you have a short time to do so. Awesome punchline.
This is so obscure, which makes it great. The beginning is so lovely and quaint until the black in white shots start. the black and white shots were brilliant. The laughing at the end is the best as well as the music. I liked this, there could have been more of a pause before they laughed tho, where all the family would look at each other and then burst into laughter, good work.
Another great looking movie!
Picture, audio, and cuts were all tight. I just wish it regarded more turkey, haha.
That family ate their baby. That's pretty crazy. Oh, and they laughed about it.
The whole family laughing took me out of my comfort zone, but im sure that's what you wanted the audience to feel.
Great flick!
Heather, this turned out great! Glad to see you in the heavy weights, where you belong. I think Clarity is one of the groups who have evolved the most technically. This movie was so nice and clean. I think you got the idea across great, pay no attention to our drunk review. I probably couldn't have spelled my name at that point. If I really had to suggest anything that could have made me like this video better, I would have liked the girls to have said something. I love it when kids act, especially in morbid type scenarios such as this. Overall fantastic job!
That drunken review show is going down in HISTORY at filmfights. lol. You were so blatantly blunt and honest it was great. My two favorite comments, "Justin's trying to be funny, but it's just stupid." and "Nice ASS!" (when Meagan walks past the camera -- she has not seen it yet, but i did relay the message through phone conversatin.)
OH, god. I couldn't even watch those drunk reviews they were so embarrassing. Haha. I was going back to label at least which one was which, and couldn't even make it through the first 30 seconds of (whichever one I happened to click on), because I was so uncomfortable watching it. I hope Derek was the one who said nice ass. Ha.
