Freaking COOL. All your shots are beautifully composed. Pacing is frenetic and insane, matches the subject matter very well. I like that we set up the character's despondency in a smart way without needing to have any spoken lines.

The room looks particularly dreary - awesome casting, awesome locations.

I wish we would have been up closer on him as he was about to pull the trigger - I don't like that we feel disconnected from him at the pivotal shot. Seems like his fear, or wish to die, should be ours as well. To see the sweat on his brow, to see his eye close and clenched hand pull the trigger.

Overall I give this an A+! Outstanding. This will be a tough one to top.

On a technical note - looks like you submitted a full screen 4:3 video with bars on the top and bottom, when you should have submitted a wide screen 16:9 video with no bars so it looks proper in our player. Feel free to submit again with a properly formatted file so it can look the prettiest on the page. email me with questions

** I wrote "disconnected with him" instead of "connected with him" - oops!

That final shot was a big debate amongst us. Where to cut to the tighter shot. I have 11 different cuts of this video, and it's tighter on him much earlier in 10 of them.

YEA, He lived. Wow, this is really dark. Man, so many bad things happened to this guy. I knew it was going to be good when I saw that screenshot. Some pretty cool effects on the memories. Nice use of the scary looking basement. I really, really liked this.

This is outstanding. The flash cuts with the heartbeats...wow! I really liked the color in the basement shots too! (I need to get the hang of color correction, so envy is apparently my new years resolution.)

This was solid and totally engaging. I haven't seen a film on filmfights that really draws you in like this that I can recall off the top of my head, yah know, ever. You win my vote, but more importantly, my heart.

You rascal. You played us to the obvious end and what a great twist! I really enjoyed this film. Between the disillusioned wife, to the job, the eviction, you didn't waste a second packing in timely and topical information. Bravo!

The shot on the couch was really nice, i think maybe if the girl would have actually broke something i would have understood what she was doing the first time. But the message was really strong. it was really nice, I liked this, the idea was awsome and the flashbacks were good. This is a good way to fit a lot of events into 30 seconds. This was great
