Love the subtitles. I like the floating ship but your motion tracking needs serious work! Too bad you couldn't get one of your parents to play the evil emperor instead. Or you could have used some more makeup or worn a mask or something along those lines. Just feels like I should be SCARED of the guy more, yanno? Love the exploding blood effect - feel like we'll be seeing a lot more of that, ha.

I give this film a B-

If you pause the video the effect looks good but when you play it the ship moves a bit out of place. You can also improve this by having the camera on a tripod and add the movement in the editing software.

Like the other two HWs, this was not really a propaganda film, but it was enjoyable. Pretty simple and some neat effects. I really liked the voice and language (was that real or made up?). It was humorous to hear that come out of a kid. Opposite of Justin, I thought it added an element of comedy, having the Straw Hat Emperor be a child. Man, I have to get with the times and all these effects. That was very realistic looking when the dude got zapped. Nice job jerking the camera as it happened.

I think everyone in this fight sort of forgot the propaganda angle. But (and not to undermine you guys) I'll let it slide because you're young. Which bytheway makes your effects all the more impressive. Very nice compositing.

I really liked the effect in the beginning, but it was a little off course. Maybe you could make a comedy short film about this. Cheers for a fellow dutchman and a fellow Niels!

I really liked this, short and simple and got right to the point. It was creative and the blood was pulled off nicely, the spaceship seemed a lil shaky though.

The compositing at the beginning was a bit shaky, but overall the effects were pretty good. The idea of a totalitarian regime devoted to forcing it's subjects to wear straw hats is delightfully absurd.
