I think you video came in squished. Why is this guy double checking the cocaine? Why would he just be sitting there staring out? He doesn't look too scared. I LOVE the music in this - you guys did a GREAT job of building tension with the music, and how you shot it - love that we see the snipers POV and it feels like our main char is in peril. I considered HWing this but ended up just thinking it wasn't quite there - would have HWed just because you guys did a great job with setting up the tension - ending could use some work for sure, though.
Overall I give this film a B-
Yeah i was wondering why this came up in 4:3 when i shot and exported it in HD 16:9. The whole thing with him standing there was that he was dropping off the cocaine and gets ambushed.
I had real issues with this one...not how it was filmed, or even how decent it looks...but a snipershot to the torso that causes that much blood, you don't get up and move around from. :(
Your bales of dope look just like the ones they used to show on Magnum P.I. I love it!
I liked switching from sniperscope to cam view.
i know its unrealistic that he gets up so quickly, but thats one of the things you have to ignore because i needed him to get up quickly to progress the video, Im glad you liked the rest of it!
Good story and perhaps even better work in the editing room. The sounds work and it feels that here's action delivered at a silver plate. Not too impressed with buckets of blood and a guy who tries to kill a forest, though.
Why would he check if he still had the cocaine and then stand there like an idiot, i like that you dont show the snipers face, too much blood, but nice simple idea. I think it would have been better if you found a different way to show that he had cocaine like an establishing shot. or maybe a flashback of him getting th cocaine.
