First off - we were having some technical issues with your group name (the weird "n") so we lost your thumbnail. If you want to send it to me I can update your video.
LOVE THE LIGHTING IN THIS!!!!! Really great look. That camera looks great - I've heard of it before. I take it that the music is coming from a source in the room?
Careful with that knife! I am not liable if someone actually ends up dead, haha.
The jump kick is freaking awesome, love that. LOVE the last shot too. With there was more context here- even just a VO at the start, something to make us care just a little bit about these two guys and feel invested in who wins and who loses. That's the main thing missing here. I know it's not easy on a tight time restriction but it's not impossible.
I also think you could have shaved off that extra 7 seconds, but your file was very good so I let it slide. Glad you took the time to cut it down as close as you did.
Overall I give this film a B - GREAT WORK!
oh and the dolly in shot on the door was RAD - need to use more dolly shots when you can!
Jalapeno...you guys were not kidding...this is a master piece! As a martial arts instructor, I have to say, your fight choreography was pretty slick. The lighting is spot on and the camera work is pretty damn amazing too!
Love the "wanted" shot with the keyboard to the face and the keys hitting the floor.
While I agree with Justin that the jump kick was cool looking (never use them in reality myself...to easy to get swatted down like a fly...) I was floored by the flip off the table! You seriously took the game to the next level!
The music was a bit strange in the first place but it sounds good with all the violance the fighting also looked real, and nice jumping :)
great job. The stunts were well performed.
make sure you have alot more room if your going to show off your acrobatic talents tho, doing a Jackie Chan move in a small space loses its coolness when you have no room for a great landing.
Definitely one of my favorite movies so far.
I Like the fighting in this one :), and loved the dolly shots at the beginning. The music could work well, but in this case I'm not quite sure you pulled it of :/, but apart from that all good :D
I like your lighting! Kinda reminds me of the watchmen intro scene... hehe. Some realistic sound effects too! I don't know why they were fighting, the choreography was OK. Nice short, and always nice to see other dutchmen in this industry-thing!
I love the feel of this movie. The music. the light. everything. very cool
The feel of this piece is great. I don't know what he did to get thrown out a window, but I get the feeling he knew it was coming.
The pace of the fight is fantastic, jumps right into the game fast, and doesn't stop. A very well thought out piece.
Great look, color graded fits, looks good.
Stuntwork with flips and stuff is great, love the shot of the keyboard hitting the ground with keys falling out. The effect with him falling out of the window looks good too.
It seemed to me that this was really reminiscent of the scene in Watchmen were the comedian is being killed, yours seems a lil more grounded in reality though. The music is the main thing that gives it that feel; I don't think it works. It doesn't seem to mesh with the editing or the color correction, and it was something I didn't really like in Watchmen, either. I think it was good, the falling out of the window looked great, but the music was kind of a turn off for me.
The fight choreography in this was amazing. The actors really did a great job with throwing and taking the punches.
The cinematography for this was really great, the lighting is great, and this really shows off what you can do with the GH1.
Other than that, it felt a bit plotless, the fighting was good, but felt a little too "planned" at times, and I think it just was a little to stilted at times, work on making it flow a little bit better naturally and I think it would look far more believable.
The effects were good, and I think that looked good, but other than that, I would work on the fighting planning a little bit more, and it'd be nice to have gotten hints of WHY the fight is happening.
Other than that, your effects and cinematography is great, keep it up, really great looking stuff.
That was really amazing I can see why this came in first. I would love to know where you got those sound effects from they made it look more real. I recon you should of maybe had some crunching sounds when they were choking eachother and I think some of the fighting could of been a bit tighter and faster. Your actors delayed a little bit when one reacted to the others actions. Great work though
I liked this but it felt like I was watching a test for the Watchmen movie. The music didn't fit this where in watchmen it did, a more orange lighting to give it that sepia look to match the music would have worked or just completely different music. The fighting was great the sounds were brilliant I knew a few from the designer sounds package. I wish there was more of a story to the fight, like maybe a newspaper with maybe a muderer free from jail, giving kinda a vigilante getting justice or something.

Unlike some people, I thought the music went perfectly with the film! I love how it was very classy and elegant, but at the same time, violent. Lighting was amazing. Acting was awesome. Color correction or filters? Uh-Mazing. I give it an A+. The only thing I disliked about it was the very end when he goes down the building. I actually found it quite humorous :]
