Your film is squished! Was this rendered out at 640x360? "Widescreen" DV doesn't work when encoded. Still need to fix that.
Slapping is awesome. Love the sliding sound effect. Audio needs some work - him laughing should continue on in the background - Dustin, your physical comedy is wonderful in this - both you guys do a good job. Ending is silly fun! "DAnnksss!" - You guys have weird ways of making drinks. HAha, the montage at the end is probably my favorite part of this.
Enjoyable watch, since Dustin is such a ham :D I wish you had a sound effect at the start of someone yelling "MORTAL SLAPFACE" - a la MORTAL KOMBAT. Woulda really sold it for me. Anyway, not a HW entry, but fun to watch for sure!
I rate this film a C+
I feel like hitting people now. But hey wow, the way he gives the guy his neurotic look in the beginning is first class acting. You could have used more of that. Another excellent move is how he tries to get up from the floor. Could have gone better, but it's the thought that counts. This rises high on it's charm in my book.
this was funny, i think you could have found a better slap effect seeing as though its the one most used here the spitting effect was obviously repeated three times, at 1:23 i was thinking he was doing something else entirely. lol, overall i like the simple idea
