I really like it. This might be my favorite lightweight. (Except my own, of course.) Actually, I think this could've been a good heavyweight. The only problems I could easily spot were some continuity issues, and some lack of color correction. Keep it up!
Thanks, we agree, it could have stood a chance as a heavyweight! Also we didn't actually do any colour correction at all. :)
You can always lobby the forums if you think your placement isn't fair!
Hey dudes! I was writing a long review but then I moved to another page and yeah it was all lost. DAMN.
Anyway, I like this a lot. GREAT camera movement - feels perfect for the subject matter. I like that you brought in some other weaponary. I also love that you added in people grunting n' shit when they are getting beat up. That's something a lot of other groups forgot.
You should check your iris on your camera - it should never be in 'auto' mode - always manual! Keeps things from getting weird when you swing around.
Lots of creative shots here, you guys are gonna end up in the HWs soon, I can sense it!!!!!
I give this film a B-
Thanks Justin! The grunting was actually all recorded on set.
This was wicked, i loved the sudden changes in pace, and yes i do believe this is the best....... my only criticism is that......... THERE IS NO TEA!!!!!!
apart from that it was great :)
i like the idea of three people attacking each other, and the shot where he hits him with the bag is nice. The sound effects were good but the one thing i didnt like was the constant stabbing, we get it, you stabbed him, finishoff the other dude.
I actually had to stap him so many times because i was waiting for Oli to get up and run off
