Love the chimes for the opening shot. Good voice over - acting could prolly be a bit more convincing but I love the story. Also like that you always film the victim from behind, makes it feel very much like he doesn't see any of this coming. Would have liked to see some kind of conclusion here, but I guess we can just assume what happens. The black and white is okay, but it could have been just as effective in a steely-blue de-saturated kind of color look.
I rate this film a B+
I like black and white! (B&W photography is one of my favorite things!) Nice to see a "noir-ish" film up here this time. Great use of the sound FX on this...actually showing the snow covered chimes was a really cool shot!
I really enjoyed the fact that the sounds actually synched to the action. Really liked the noir style. Personally I would've liked the added mystery of never really seeing the hitman's face, but it was only there for a second. Overall, really good job.
I cut out a shot of the hitman walking towards the camera. And if you notice every shot the hitman is in, he is out of focus and the background or foreground is in focus. The only time he is in focus is the last shot, but it only shows half of his face.
