Really nice movie. All the scenes in the phone booth are successful both in editing and in comedic pacing. British characters!!! Liked it a lot.
My only complaint comes from the soundtrack: no music to kick the suspence when the guy exits the phone booth... and I didn\'t understand the use of 1 Giant Leap on the beginning and the end; doesn\'t fit the mood at all.
Anyways! Good job.
well...the guys accent was pretty funny. the red thing was kinda cool, too. uhm...i dont really know what else to say about it. pretty funny spoof.
one thing that i found a little distracting was the audio when you cut to the bell tower and well...some filler white noise would have made that more pleasing...
Good job spoofing Phonebooth. Simple and entertaining. The ending seemed very anti-climactic. Overall-- pretty Good entry.
pretty funny concept. short enough that you didn\'t milk the gag beyond what it was, left viewer with good feeling. nice parody of british vs americans in similiar situation. Shots were good. overall i give it a 7/10. good job.
Looking forward to number 3- again, nice gag.
Hahhaha, funny how it\'s making fun of phone book, I like that. I thought the camera angles and such could have been much better, but overall I really liked it. Good work, you bloody wanker
I like how the voice over is just like in the original.... the running scene is funny.... GREAT ENDING (the summer 2007 thing) I really liked this your cuts were good - humor good... shot composition good also!
makes me miss england :(
this one was a little strange. an obvious LW. it seemed rushed and lacked any kind of serious focus. the audio was HORRIBLY put together, you have to cut the fizz out, and fill in the empty noise. you\'re obviously new, keep practicing.
This was almost a complete failure - our intent wasn\'t to spoof Phonebooth using a Phonebooth, but what we were looking for we couldn\'t find! Not only that, but one actor was injured - thus things ended aburptly.
Lack of music was a reference to the lack of music in Phonebooth - and the Way You Dream stuff was about as close I could get to one of the intro songs without ripping it off.
I like the british voices. Haha i\'ve never seen PhoneBooth and this is a big funny treat. Haha this gave me the giggles, I\'m sure it represented the pure dumbass plotting of phone booth and what not. Haha but this was really great. Good job you guys this was really funny and entertaining.
Haha, I enjoyed it. I like how emo flux totally scissored the girl in the froat and totally cut herself d>8-0! The music was intense and I thought the editing was funny.
I love the hilariously bad British accents. I suppose in a sequel if they couldn\'t afford good Brit actors, they\'d be forced to hire Americans to try to pull it off. I kind of would have liked to see you use more of a \'phone\' sounding effect on the voice.
There\'s a hum in the background and you can really tell when it\'s not there - might as well had it keep going through the whole thing to keep things the same.
Kind of short and silly - would have also liked to see some POV shots from the sniper where-ever he was - maybe a shot of Stu being targeted in the booth.
And it even sets itself up for another sequel, nice!
I think the best part was when you totally fell over in the forest, very funny. An interesting spoof of \"Phone Booth\", but the sound could use some better mixing for the voiceover. Music was kind of random.
I like the red effect at the beginning, but I don\'t know if I like it over the first shot of your main character. (The segue from red to normal probably would have been fine without the dissolve.) But anyway, thanks for keeping this short! You don\'t bother with a long intro, and the moment you start with the guy on his cell phone, I was immediately engaged. I guess I\'m one of the people that actually finds the British accent hilarious. So excellent job, there. As for the rest of the video, it\'s nothing spectacular, but there are no serious flaws either, meaning all in all it was a good viewing experience. Personally I would have applied an audio effect to the caller\'s voice, to make it sound like the limited frequency response of a telephone, and also like some of the other reviewers have mentioned, if you have audio \"fuzz\" in the background, it\'s important to have it in every shot. It can be disconcerting for an audience to suddenly hear silence when they\'re not use to it. (There\'s a major difference between actual audio silence and suspenseful story silence.) Aside from the comically low-budget sniper sight effect, this is a tightly-edited, well put together piece that effectively communicates the story. The bottom line is I hated the film Phonebooth, but this video was rather enjoyable. Keep up the good work.
