WoW! That was some badass stuff. Nice blood effects too. Camera angles were really cool and it looked like an action movie. "I am Recyculator" that sounded like "I am Batman" on Dark Night. Music was awesome and ending text too. I give this movie 9/10

Freaking awesome. Love this A LOT. Open shots are all beautiful. Love the sting of music at 5 sec. Great with the push in. So much blood flying everywhere. Seems like the blood is kind of going in slower motion than it should be though? Could have sped that up a bit.

The kick is so good. Love the voice too -- sounds like Batman. I love this entry! Beautiful shooting, great editing, great pace, great an enjoyable all around.

Thank you Justin! Yeah.. now some of those blood splatters are bothering me with how slow they are. Thanks for pointing it out.

Really liked it, cool effects setting and the like but my only criticism is the continuity, i had to watch it twice to fully understsand it all, i can understanf if it was becuase you didnt have very long to fit it all in to, but if not thats something to work on.
great film

I'm not sure what to say. Awesome action, awesome fight scene. Amazing action/fight scene. There is a small continuity error. The blood effect looked great, but you've got blood flying all over in a couple of early shots - from the amount of blood, his face should be a mangled map of pain... but there is little evidence of this blood shed on his features, clothes, or on the scenery. It's especially evident on his face... maybe you could have made him up to have a really bad split lip?
Otherwise I think everything else visually was pretty much perfect. I especially love the little details like the name on the garbage can at the end. Good luck in the competition!

I agree, it could have used some fake blood. All marks on his face were done in post. But I could have pushed it farther. Thanks!

Yes! that fake blood is awesome. I am so sending this short to my environmental specialist at work. I really liked the closing graphics as well. The SFX and audio overall was flawless. That was really good. No complaints on that one. In fact, it gets my vote.

I just love this so much! Since it came out yeasterday I probobly watched it 4 times. Anyway, the blood and bottle-kick is well done. I also like the voice when he says "I'm the Reciculator!"
When he throughs the other guy into the trashcan it was kind of easy to tell how you did it, but it was still really well done!

Love the thumbnail for this one. I was a little confused who was who watching the fight, because your actors are wearing very similar outfits (hoodies and snow caps). The shot of him running towards the litter-er would have been less disorienting if it was filmed from the other direction. Also why did the litter-er stop and stand there? Shots could have better thought out. But, it looks really good, the line delivery at the end is funny.

Good call. If I could do it again.. I would have had the Recyculator wear a blue poncho! I think the shot of him running towards the litter-er could have been less disorienting if there was less jello from the CMOS and if it wasn't hand held! Thanks again for your comments.

Awesome here and there. At the same time I have a feeling of dropping out a bit just as often. Shows great potential but you're stumbling.

Great fun to watch, must've been great fun to make. I like how even though we don't see the litterer flying through the air to the dustbin its still convincing because the way its cut still lets it flow, so good initiative used there. Also love the 'homage' to The Dark Knight. Keep submitting!

Thank you! If I could do it again I would attempt a wide where the recyculator tosses the litterer through the air. I'm still trying to rap my head around how to accomplish something like that without rigs and green screen.

Very nice colors and composition. This would make for an excellent Recycling PSA.

I wasn't quite a fan of this one... I mean it's SO good, but not for me. I think when the guy says "I'm the Recyculator" in that really deep grimy voice, it just grosses me out. Haha did remind me of batman's deep voice though.

You guys had no flaws in the film. I loved the blood effects and intense slow motion. :)

Really crisp color in your screen shot. Way to go making recycling seem action packed. I liked all the well coordinated shots/cuts. This is probably my vote.

Except for a few cutting issues, this is a hilarious and brutal short film! Great use of Action Essentials 2. Definitely the winner this time around.

Excellant video, excellent prospective, excellent idea. Good audio and coloring, just make sure when u have your actor doing an 360 degree angle make sure you get a shot that is more realistic to how he would have landed. Hope to see more videos.

This is the best short film, it has great HD, and special effects. And I love the part when he kicks the bottle into the recycling bin.
