Great idea! I think you could have executed it with a bit more clarity though. Really emphasis how hard it is taking the bread away from his breadfamily. Maybe a some voice over between the bread and his fam could have helped too. "Son!! We'll miss you! Come back!!!!!" kind of stuff. A smart idea that just needed a bit more fleshing out. Your lighting could have been more dramatic as well.
