So, interesting idea -- I mean, it's kind of like a Matrix nero ripoff kind of thing. I like the nodding aspect of it from POV - seems to work pretty well. Camera is a bit ... shaky and bobbly -- unnaturally so. Seemed a bit long to me ... I do like the extra little detail of the explosion in the background though - even for just a couple frames, it helps to SELL some danger instead of just hearing the sound effect. I kinda want to see what happens next! Like, swarms of cop cars, etc etc.

Seems like the story is just starting!

You didn't follow the basic rule of having "Here's the plan" as the first line! This is EASILY the strongest of the LW's and I think you might have had a chance to be HW if you'd just followed that rule... I'm not going to say "matrix rip off' or anything, I mean the "phone call-command" idea isn't the most original, but it was still done well.

You didn't say here's the plan, besides that, it was decent, there were little distracting things like when you see your shadow you see the camera for a moment, or when the guy on the phone asks you a question and you nod the camera as if he can hear your nod.

Eagle Eye I think more than Matrix. I agree with the nodding over a phone????? That's why they didn't give Snake Eyes a Walkie Talkie in GI JOE. LOL

It got my attention, made me wonder what's going on and what happens next. I can't comment on the rules and/or breaking of. I never saw them. I liked it.

I liked that it had that sort of "thrown into something without knowing what's going on" feel to it--the same thing that I liked about the trailers for Eagle Eye. However, I dunno if this worked as well story-wise, because to me there was no pay-off. The viewer was left in the same shoes as the protagonist: neither of them knew why any of this happened. The explosion looked alright, but I know how hard it is to get pre-shot stuff to look GOOD. I liked the entry. Music didn't totally match, but wasn't bad.

Good use of POV, however the vignette was a little too 'heavy' which brought focus more so to the exact center of the frame rather than the action. Had a great beginning and middle, but the end of your story is left untold to the point where it kills all the suspense and feels 'unfinished'.

fun fact about this video. it was the first time ive ever done something like foley. I recorded every sound you hear separately. i thought id give it a shot since when ever i post videos everyones always suggesting it. I found out that even though its an added step, if its done right it sounds quite amazing.
