The footage seemed a bit dark but I liked it - struck me right off the bat. Audio was hard to hear for me (on a laptop). Would have been funny if, instead of typical action music, you used overly whiny emo.
oooo! the worst of all your films so far. sorry, but ewww. Nice scissor trick, liked it when you drank the poison anyways. cool graphic FX, but overall your worst, mostly based on editing and story- and the acting really lacked. had their been more entries, this would have been LW\'d and you should never be in the lightweights. But thanks for trying. 4/10
I enjoyed this! haha I liked when emo flux totally scissored that girl in the throat and then cut herself. The music was intense man and those stunts are breath taking!
Great opening sequence. I think that was my favorite part of the whole thing. Good lighting, good shot. Love the close up.
The world is \"Dying\"
You\'re so passively swinging around those weapons, nice touch. You reeeeally have some sound issues on this one. I can barely make out what anyone is saying and that makes it very confusing, espcially since I haven\'t seen the movie. I suggest always going back and re-dubbing in the audio, even if you use a crappy $10 windows microphone it will sound a billion times better. Right now the audio just needs a lot of work. Putting in that extra time will make it seem a lot more professional.
Anorexia or something, haha.
Poor emo :(
I\'d also have liked to see more titles between the sequences to tie in more together. Some big issues with this one, but if it was cut down to like 30-45 seconds and redubbed it could be good. Better enter something than nothing though, so I applaud you!
You seem to basically center around EMOness, I don\'t know if you are EMO, or if you really like to make fun of it. Thought there were some funny parts, like when she\'s crouching in the kitchen, and when she licks the blood off of her upper arm. You can\'t really keep a high intensity action movie, well, high intensity for a few minutes without, well, any action. I think the music should have gone off a few times, and the dialogue brought up a bit. Pretty cool.
I definitely liked the music that you used, and the font for the text was cool (except for \"dieing\"). Main thing you need to work on is tightening up your edit; speeding up the \"Emo Flux\" action would have worked better in making this feel more like an action sequel. There were also some problems with the sound. Don\'t take this the wrong way, but your friend can\'t act her way out of a paper bag. Her scenes completely dragged down your movie.
It should be \"The world is DYING.\" Sorry, spelling is like my religion. Anyway, this is obviously a last minute job, and you know that, and I thank you for entering because the more the merrier. But I\'ve seen your other stuff, so I know what you\'re capable of; therefore I won\'t be overly critical of this video. First of all though, good opening shots. It\'s an interesting angle, and most people your age are for some reason afraid of the close-up. Better lighting and audio would have greatly improved the piece (half the time I had no idea what was being said), as would shortening it up into something more trailer-esque, to keep everyone\'s attention. I should mention that whoever did camera for you has a good eye for video. You had a great variety of shots, some of them very nicely framed. You\'re young, so these quick, fun videos are to be expected, and will ultimately serve as practice, but I\'d be willing to bet that if you really buckled down and took some time and effort to put together a great project, you\'d be a force to be reckoned with. I really do look forward to your future projects.
